We are planning to rent a Grand Villa, probably at Kidani. There are actually enough beds for 14, not 12. Can you book 12 and bring bedding for the other 2?

Can only have 12 guests in the 3BR. Cannot book 14 so cannot get MB and FP+ for 14. And if they find you are over capacity they will boot you (I saw this happen at BWV once).

Renting 2 2BR villas would be less expensive and you would easily fall inside occupancy limits. At Kidani, that would also mean 3 full bathrooms in each villa.

unfortunately you cannot exceed the occupancy limit set for an individual room (and none of the grand villas at Disney allow more than 12 people - plus one child under the age of 3 in a crib). As was mentioned before, you will be better served getting 2 -2bedroom villas and will not exceed occupancy limits.
