2% qualifiers for Premiere Visa questions

The "qualifier" is where you purchase, not what you purchase. On the Premier Card, the 2% rewards are earned on purchases made at gas stations, grocery stores and most Disney locations; everywhere else earns 1% rewards.

Gift cards -- as long as Chase has the store in their system as a grocery store, the gift card purchase will earn 2% rewards. (For example, some WalMarts are tagged by Chase as grocery stores while others are tagged as discount stores, what one purchases at those stores doesn't matter.)

Airfare -- probably not, unless it is booked as part of a Disney vacation package.

A Disney vacation purchased through a TA -- if the TA acts simply on your behalf and the payment is processed directly by Disney, then it should earn 2% rewards (I believe most TA's work in this manner but not all). If payment is made directly to the TA agency who then turns around and pays Disney through an agency account, then that would be 1% rewards.
