I'm impatiently waiting for summer 2021

We just did our 1st cruise with DCL & loved it. We already have holiday plans for next year so I'd like to try one of the 7day med cruises end of May ideally. I'm planning to book it as a surprise for DH & the kids then not tell them until Christmas next year. Not sure if I'll manage to keep it quiet for that long!

You never know what the European itinerary will be. Sometimes they do the Med first, other times Northern Europe first.

There are some May 2021 dates available. (That's when I'd like to go is when school gets out here around May 20.)

Thanks for posting this. I don't know why it didn't dawn on me that May was available! I guess I am so focused on June and July.

Hi, all, I'm knew to this thread, joining the vigil.

We will be on the Fantasy in a few weeks (first time DCL) and may book a placeholder for summer 2021. Just curious, can you book a GTY category with a placeholder?

    Thanks!

We just booked a Western Caribbean on the Fantasy for Jan 2021! So excited!
Congratulations! We are doing this very cruise January 4, 2020! We booked it very last-minute and it has all been a whirlwind, we are so excited. I will be doing a report so watch for it! I know a lot can change in a year but let me know if you have any questions. You have so much time to plan and get all your reservations and activities in order. Most on-board activities are already unavailable for us, but we will check again once on-board. Happy planning!

Yes you can use a placeholder on a GTY room. Other categories, such as CDN residents rate, Military rates, Florida rates, GT* with restrictions - those you cannot use a placeholder for. But a GTY you can.

Have so much fun! A last minute Disney Cruise is always preferable to NO Disney Cruise ;)

Add me to those waiting. I need to move a cruise I have booked to summer 2021. I have a feeling I might have to move it twice though since it doesn't sound like rates will be out till after I need to move it. Ugh.

We were looking for the last week of May and it's not out for the Fantasy, Bummer!
We have a B2B booked for May 8-15 and 15-22....it’s driving me crazy because I want to know if we can B2B something different for after the 22nd if there is a better itinerary than the 8th-15th lol....it’s that grass is geeener thing 😂

Itineraries are like 18 months out when released, right? So would the Feb Release have Wish cruises?

No, the Wish is not due to set sail until January 2022 so you can expect those first cruises to be released around October 2020.
