Today it's time for the single digit dance!!!

Yay! That's one of the best dances! Except for, ya know, the FINALLY AT DISNEY dance!

All caught up now! Just have to watch your latest vlogs!

They ended up scheduling it for Thursday so I had to take the day off. I don't know if I mentioned part of why we needed the window replaced was ours was leaking for over a month, we couldn't close it all the day, and the area that was rotting due to rain leaking in had mold and a hole in it that bugs were crawling in through Josh actually duct taped the hole as a temporary fix, and that worked surprisingly well. Anyway the day of I took the tape off, and when I did ants started pouring out.

Ugh that sounds scary! I can't imagine ripping the tape and have a bunch of ants crawl out. It sounds like The Mummy! Thank goodness that is over for you!

Sci fi for burgers and I also booked the Fantasmic dessert party which is starting that day

Later that night we have a nice dinner planned at Yachtsman Steakhouse which I'm really excited for!

I found some cool iPhone camera lenses on Amazon, I'm excited to use them for vlogging and pictures. The wide angle lens will be nice during the fireworks especially, and the 2x zoom might be helpful too.

Ooh these look really cool! I'll have to look into this...

Once the party starts there so much I want to do! Snacks, rides, magicshots, Haunted Mansion, the parade and fireworks, meet and greets, etc!

Me watching MNSSHP vlogs and planning our night even though it's still August...

I have no idea where to start! It's my first MNSSHP! Now I'm a little scared I'll need a proper itinerary!

After a bit of a break we'll head back out for dinner at Citricos. I had to book this because AP holders get 30% off for this month, so cool!

So lucky! I dont' think we'll get to eat there this weekend, as we don't have much time at WDW.

Next weekend I'll post our final 2 days, it's also our 4 year anniversary on Friday!

Yeah it is! Thank you! Because of the hurricane we're not 100% sure what's going on yet and are just waiting for more news. I'll post about it later but we may be looking at canceling this trip and just going for HHN the first weekend, but moving our trip to Dec. ​

That sucks you may need to cancel, but I totally understand. I have a cousin that lives just north of Miami, and her ex-husband is a hurricane specialist at the NHC, so both of them have been posting lots about Irma.

Which part of December? Possibly the very end of the month?

Bummer about your trip. We're right in Irma's path So I've been rooting for a last min change harder than you! You're definitely better off waiting - it's too much money to spend to sit in a hotel room eating expensive boxed sandwiches!

We actually tried to find rooms in Orlando, thinking there would be at least a few WDW trip cancellations this wknd- as it would be safer for us than where we're at - but everything is still sold out from everyone escaping SFla. (We actually had a last min F&W trip booked end of Sept, but will probably have to cancel at this point.)

We're going that same time in Dec that you're considering- such an awesome time to be there - without all the humidity.

Looking fwd to your HHN report - we're there a month after you - as long as there aren't too many more hurricanes headed our way.

Ugh, Raeven, I have been thinking about you a lot these last few days as I hear about the weather. I was worried about hurricane season affecting my trip for months before I'd even left, so I can only imagine how stressful it is to be having to actually make these decisions right now. I'm hopeful based on Ariane's post earlier today that something happened to make a change more exciting!

First of all has anyone been watching Midnight Texas? I

I have them recorded and sort of watched the first one. I read the Harper Connolly series by Charlaine Harris where Manfred is featured, and have the first Midnight Texas book on my nook but haven't read it yet. I hated what tv did to the Sookie Stackhouse books with True Blood, so I've been scared to get into it. But it's next on my watch list.

These were both kind of bland and not the best.

That is sad b/c they both look really good!

But the steaks more than made up for it!

I'm glad you have a new plan in place for the trip, and I'm sad you'll be missing MNSSHP, but I am SUUUPER excited to hear about your visit to US for HHN since I've been watching all the videos of old houses from past years. The ones for this year I wish I could see are The Shining, American Horror Story, and Dead Waters. I've become obsessed with HHN for some reason.

But December is going to be good too!! As hyped up as I am for October, now that we have booked December, I'm ready for trees and lights!!
