"Advanced" posting help

When I click this option I am having troubles. First of all, I have to click the "more smiles" link and then copy and paste the name to the post. I can't just double click it. Second, and most important, it will not let me submit in the advanced posting. It just looks like it refreshes the page. It doesn't submit. I have to copy and paste, go back, and submit it under quick reply. What's up?

If you switch to the basic text editor in your profile, does that work correctly?

The WYSIWYG editor is a seperate module that might be conflicting with something on your PC. There was an update that was done, but I don't know what the update involved.
