Allure June 2019, TR updated with Compasses

To wrap things up I have a few tips: If you plan to play bingo, get there early as seating is limited and bring a marker/highlighter or you will have to buy a $3.00 ink dobber. If you like to have coffee before breakfast, order it the night before from room service (there is a menu order form you hang on your door before bed) for delivery in the next morning. For Labadee, buy cheap inflatable rafts/rings and just throw out when done. If you have early dining, email for a window seat, you will have an amazing view for dinner each night. Deck 8 is a great deck for your cabin, it was so nice to pop around the corner to the Park Cafe for a snack, drink, etc without having to use the elevators or stairs. Deck 7 aft there are small decks on each side with chairs. Nice quiet spot to watch the ocean or in the evenings nice spot for shows in the Aqua Theater. Take an extra pair of sunglasses, the ship is huge and if you leave them somewhere, odds are you will never find them.
We had a really great trip and since the Allure will not be sailing out of Florida next June, we have booked the Harmony. That's my last tip, if you plan on sailing again, book on board for the extra OBC. You can always cancel and rebook later if you change your mind or the price drops.

thank you for the pics! i have been looking into allure of the seas for possible 7 night mediterranean cruise oct 2020 for my parents & myself. i think my sister may have to sit that one out because it looks like total stimulation overload based off your pics (visually, parties, even planning for it) which i don't think she can handle--she really does like DCL, even though it's geared towards young kids we felt the kids are hardly noticeable except around pools, food areas & kids clubs.

Op, our experience with the water was WAY too hot, both the shower and the sink, too!!
. It was hard to adjust to cool it down. Nutty!

I don’t recall any mention of the casino... which we enjoyed and went too quite often! Came home winners!!. And the Art auctions were enjoyed as well. While I didn’t personally make any purchase, friends with us did..and felt satisfied with the entire process.
Glad you enjoyed ur voyage and thx for sharing.

We did visit the casino a few times, only to play slots and that additive quarter game, lol. I was impressed on the ventilation as the non smoking side was not smoky at all. Hubby came out $70 above what we started with, so not to bad for non gamblers. We found it more of an entertainment venue than any thing else, so we would have been quite happy to have not won anything :).

Yeah I don't consider myself a hardcore gambler, but I do like playing blackjack and 3 card poker and have those basic strategies memorized. On the ship, it's pretty easy to pop in, lose or double your buy in (for me it's $50 or $100) and get out.

Thank you for the wonderful writeup- it sounds like you had a great time :) ! You’ve made me even more excited for our first time on Allure in 2021.
