I had been resisting buying Animal Crossing for the Wii (despite the encyclopedic thread that had raged for months here). DW and I stopped in Best Buy this evening. We found the game bundle (the game + Wii Speak) for $34. Oddly enough, the game (by itself) was still full price - but you could buy the bundle with the game for much cheaper.
