Animal Kingdom Handicap Bus Stop Area Photos 12/2018
When leaving the Animal Kingdom Park and heading back to Disney Pop Century Resort, the first bus sign that I see is the main sign for all of the buses.
There are three rows of Disney bus stop canopies with Pop Century being one of the closest from the park. This is a lot better than being one of the last rows at the Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
Here is the first and main sign. With buses to the other parks. Disney Springs starts after 4:00 P.M.
This is the sign for just two resorts and Minnie Van drop-off and pick-up. So I head in that direction.
This is my bus stop for Disney Pop Century Resort #28. Easy Peasy!
It is close to sunset and I see they have attached the rope seen at the bottom, so I will go mainstream through the bus stop queue until I reach the front row in the distance with the handicap symbol flag. Since this is not a gate and there was a short line when I arrived, I was a little hesitant to take the rope off. If I was blocking the way of others behind me, I would remove the rope with the handicap flag. Usually, cast members do this, but I wouldn't hesitate to unlatch the handicap rope with the flag and go through to the yellow line.
I am past the rope and I can see the yellow line that I can drive up, too. I also see in the distance guest in the front row where they will enter the bus.
I have mentioned this before, the bus driver's usually like you to wait at the yellow line until they wave you on.
Ramp coming down and I know, I left the yellow line and another scooter is about to exit. I rolled back in shame.
My turn to board.
Where's my seat belt? Under my big belly! I lifted my t-shirt up.
The side door is closed and now the other guests will board through the front door.
Diagram under raised bench beside where I was strapped in.
I had fun in a picture perfect day although chilly.
I saw a tram coming toward me on the way to my bus stop.
I saw a Tram going away to the parking lot. I think that is the Handicap parking. I do member as the bus made a left turn, I could see the Handicap Parking Lot Signs all the way to the right and not in this photo.
