So I picked up this beauty at my local thrift store:

Can you poor liquid right into it? or does it need a plastic cup in it, as it says "Do not submerge in Water." It came with no straw either. The pic Is from online.

Yes, they sold drinks in them. They can't be submerged because of the battery and lights in the base. Hand wash only. You can get a bag of the big straws for them at Dollar Tree.
