Tiffins Talks are now accepting reservations and the speakers at each event have been announced! I'm planning on going the 22nd. $185 total.

Joe Rohde will be the guest on April 25th.

Got me off the fence to join the full version of D23. That fence got mighty uncomfortable anyway, been on it for something like 3 years! LOL

Must have been sharp pickets. If it's still available, are you getting the VIP package? Two activities in the package caught my eye, the Private Mix and Mingle reception in DinoLand U.S.A., and the Behind-the-Scenes Dinner inside the Festival of the Lion King theater

Those, and versions of those two events, actually occur quite regularly throughout the year at AK. In fact there is one taking place tonight for 800 guests. Tonight's event is a very elaborate version, it takes over the Harambe Theater district for a dinner, includes a private FOTLK show, plus rides on FoP and NRJ. These types of events are private and only offered to groups, which D23 is, and are not open to the public.

Of the two events included in the D23 VIP package, the dinner inside the Lion King theater is an especially memorable experience. If it's the standard setup, it'll include live AK themed entertainment during the dinner. Who knows, maybe I'll see some of you at one of those events.

I have been receiving e-mails from the manager of Tiffins about the upcoming Tiffin Talks for the past month since I attended a previous event (signature dinner) for last year's Food & Wine Event. That event also had a Tiffins Talk along with the dinner. Awesome event.

I was so disappointed when I received the e-mail a few days ago that Joe Rohde's talk had been changed to the 25th. I have to leave that day and would pay a $200 penalty to change my airline ticket if I stayed. My birthday is the 26th!!! I need to get home since I'm trading dog sitting with a friend who will be watching my dogs while I'm gone. I've met him at a D23 Expo, and you will not be disappointed!

I may go ahead with the VIP D23 event on the 22nd, instead. It's not very often I get to use those benefits.

Do you about how many people can sign-up for each dinner? We have done the lunch at Sanaa with an animal specialist. I think it was about 14 people. Happy Anniversary!!!

For the signature dinner I attended which included a Tiffins Talk, there were around 30 people present. They may accommodate more for this...not sure. Tiffins has several dining rooms and our group was in one alone. There were multiple smaller tables set up, not just one long table. They did seat some parties together in tables of 4 to 8 people. The speaker had a podium set up at one end and spoke / showed slides in between courses, etc. I don't know if it will be done the same way, but I have a feeling it will be similar. The price was a little bit higher, I think, for the one I attended.

I called WDWDine a few days ago, and they did not have any other info other than what the brief description included, so I don't think anyone knows more details for sure.

DH and I dined at Tiffins on Monday night. We mentioned to our waitress that we'd be back next month for the dinner with Joe. She was jealous, she's not working that night though she said she may try to trade night's off so she can be working. She also mentioned that Joe's been in several times to work with the chef on the menu for the night.
