I've been babysitting a dog all week. He's basically a good dog but needy. I LOVE cats but don't want a dog. This week has reinforced that fact.

I walk him a lot and he loves just sitting at my feet but I'm just not a dog owner at heart.

I'm like them but don't want the responsibility of owning and taking care of one. Too much work for me. A cat is so much quieter and easier, guess I'm just lazy.

wdw4us, I agree, they are a lot of work. I have a new puppy in the house, she's been with us 3 weeks now. It's like having a baby almost!! Constant walks, naps, feedings, and supervision.
But we just love her!
