Any experience using BA flights into/out of Tampa

Hi There,
Has anyone chosen to fly into Tampa instead of Orlando airport and if so have you been able to fly back out of Orlando airport (or vice versa)? we are thinking on 1 week in Clearwater next year

We did exactly this 2 years ago. We flew into Tampa and out of Orlando using BA. Many of the flight comparison sites will allow you to put in a different arrival and departure airport.

Easy in and out - despite the extra drive almost as quick as landing at MCO - a good choice!!

We did similar in Feb this year, flew in to Tampa, but out of Fort Lauderdale (as had cruised out of Miami). Tampa airport much quicker to get through than MCO and very easy car pickup. Loved Tampa and Clearwater Beach.

We did it for the first time last year after 18 trips to Orlando.
Its soooooo much better - nice and simple to get luggage, car and tbh it's so much less chaotic. It's still a very large airport but the time you save going through passport control and everything else makes ups for the extra 30-40mins drive.
Flight was a lot cheaper as well
