Any Vegas strip hotels meet my qualifiers?

OP here - thanks again for all of your help. We finally settled on the Cosmopolitan because the price was right for us the first week of October. Cheaper than Caesars which was my first choice, and seemingly in a better location. We booked terrace studio kings, and I'll be booking a pool level cabana at the Boulevard Pool. If anyone has any suggestions or things to know about the Cosmo - fill me in!

Good choice! We just spent a weekend in Vegas (stayed at Planet Hollywood, which was great) and we spent some time in the Cosmopolitan. There are several great restaurants there as well as a "hidden" pizza by the slice place. Definitely take the opportunity to walk over to Aria, as it is an absolutely stunning resort and basically adjacent to the Cosmo. The Park MGM is also pretty great, with an Eataly Italian food hall, which I highly recommend. I also highly recommend a meal over at Mon Ami Gabi over at the Paris. It's a short walk across the street and the food and service there is fantastic.

The rooftop pool looks really great and was definitely NOT a party scene midday.

The casino at Cosmopolitan is kinda small and claustrophobic. I suggest the casinos at Planet Hollywood or Aria instead. Both are large, well ventilated (not smoky) and have a great variety of games, if gambling is your thing. PH is a bit more "hip" (they play great music!), but there were plenty of older folks there as well. It's our favorite casino on the strip. Just has a great, fun vibe.

Just came across this thread as I am thinking of going to Vegas in sept. I had it narrowed down to Caesar’s or planet Hollywood but will check out Cosmopolitan.
