Why do people start a thread with "asking for a friend?" Why not just ask.
They’re too embarrassed to say it’s really about them.
My friend says he's starting to get a complex over how people are perceiving him and his questions.
He's working on it, but it does seem to bother him. He'll probably want me to start a thread or something to get some advice on how to deal with his baggage.Tell your "friend" not to let what people on the internet say bother him
I haven't actually seen one of those threads lately, unfortunately. They're guaranteed to be greatly entertaining.

Easy one. Tell him to book business class - that fare usually includes two pieces of checked luggage. He's working on it, but it does seem to bother him. He'll probably want me to start a thread or something to get some advice on how to deal with his baggage.
