I thought that even during EMH the world showcase is only open until 9. Isn’t just the front, Future world section open late??? Someone with experience pls comment. I would love to explore world showcase after hours, but didn’t think it was possible.Evening EMH's are the best! Nothing beats the World Showcase during evening EMH!!!
OP is staying off site. They are not eligible for EMH.Evening EMH's are the best! Nothing beats the World Showcase during evening EMH!!!

PM EMH at Epcot is the best thing since Jello invented instant pudding IMO, but if you can’t enjoy it being offsite, you’d probably do better to choose a different park that Tuesday.
Not to Hijack because I think it applies to OP question too... How do you both utilize Epcot for after hours? Do you find there's enough open to enjoy World Showcase? Or do you like to ride rides in Future world? Love Epcot but never been there after hours. (We always stay on-site)THIS
Is the question more about crowd concerns during regular operating hours on EMH days?
My 13 yo son loves to ride Test Track over and over during EMH. I just enjoy World Showcase after dark. Not to Hijack because I think it applies to OP question too... Yes it will result in a more crowded park, especially as evening approaches and (on Tuesday, October 9 a MNSSHP night) people exit Magic Kingdom due to the early 6pm close time. I find the day after the day with PM EMH is the best day to go. In this case, Wednesday. Wednesday - not a weekend, not an EMH=ideal in the fall at Epcot.Yes - I am avoiding parks that have EMH generally, because as off-property guests, we cannot take advantage of them and I've heard they result in higher crowds at the park on that day. Plus, we lose the benefit of RD if there are EMH in the AM. I was just wondering if PM EMH would make Epcot significantly more crowded that day such that we should choose a different park for the day.
I’m with @caribbeandream. My favorite part of being at Epcot late is drinking around the World Showcase.
We were just there a few weeks ago for PM EMH. We watched Illuminations in front of Norway and hustled over to Frozen Ever After when it ended. Afterward, we girls doused ourselves in Laila, then we hit up La Cava for Twitter shots and jalapeño margaritas. Our little ones rode the Mexican boat ride with their dads three times in a row without getting off.
We walked the long way to the International Gateway by going clockwise around WS lagoon, stopping in Germany for beers. They play the music from Tapestry of Nations and the two hours fly by. The vibe is just so pleasant there at night.
So it sounds like at least some food/drink in WS is open for EMH? I am seeing so many conflicting reports.
