Can anyone who has done a back to back cruise before tell us what happens when you dock at port canaveral in between cruises ?

You disembark, go through customs, head back up the escalators, recheck in, and wait in the concierge area until it's time to rebound!

What time do you disembark? How long do you have to wait to wait. ? What do you bring with you? Are there refreshments? Can you go back to your cabin when you revised? Sorry for all the questions just like to know

We weren't in PC but San Juan for ours in May.
The put us in Fathoms to wait for all guests to depart the ship first ( which took forever)
Then they took our KTTWCs and scanned us off the ship at once.
Walked us to the terminal and said we would just check in again and get right back on the ship 1,2,3
Not so much, our luck was that the computers went down for about 45 minutes, so we had to hang out in the terminal till they came back up.
There was coffee and pastry we heard, but we just went to the Quiet Cove pool after reboarding, we had less than hour before new guests started boarding.
We went to Cabanas for breakfast that morning, which we enjoyed, first time we ever did that.

They ask you not to go back to your cabin when new guests start to board the ship, it causes confusion for them. So if you want to stay in cabin you can, but they prefer not in and out.
We just brought out Passports and check in form to terminal.

You should receive a letter the day before the end of the first cruise, or you can go to guest services and they will provide the information.

You will meet at around 9am at a specified location. You will need to take your ID and the boarding information with you. They will escort you off the ship and into the holding area in the terminal. If you drive, you can take luggage off, we usually do and place the dirty clothes in the vehicle and then return to the holding area. They will give you a pass that shows you are B2B when you leave the ship. You will be required to give it back to them when you board. usually it is around 10:30 before the let you board again. If you are in the same room, you don't need to do anything with your stuff. If you have to move, they will move your hang-up stuff for you and your packed luggage to the new room. I always try to do a face-to-face with the new host before then end if the first cruise, if we have to move.

Normally on the B2B we just go back to the room, go and eat lunch at Cabanas around 12 and then head back to the room. We go back to the room early enough that those folks waiting to gain access to the room don't see us. Some folks just can't understand why we have access and they don't. If you are moving rooms, the new hosts will clean your room first so you can have access to it when you board for the second cruise.

Any others questions, let me know.

We did B2B in Miami a couple of years ago. We met in one of the lounges and then after all other passengers had disembarked, they escorted us off and through customs. You still have to fill out the declaration form even if you aren't taking your luggage off. You are then escorted as a group, up,to the check- in area. This is prior to the arrival of those boarding for the new cruise and the terminal is pretty empty. We had to wait about 15 min for the CMs to open up the check-in and then we got to check-in for #2 and reboard. For us, the process took less than an hour. Afterwards you can choose where to hang out - Cove Cafe, the pool, lobby, room - wherever. We hit Cove Cafe and then DH went back to the room. Right when boarding started we headed to the dining room and then back to our room prior to any guests queuing up for the "rope drop". They do ask that you not go back and forth so the arriving guests don't think it's OK to go to their stateroom early. We made sure no one was waiting. Our stateroom hostess had done a full turnover the day before, so we weren't in her way either. We sailed a different itinerary on each cruise and I would definitely do it again.

We're planning a B2B this coming Feb 2019, thanks for the explanation on what happens. How many people stayed on with you to continue into the next cruise?

We did back to back on the Dream in Port Canaveral. We were cruising with family in the adjoining cabin. We did not get the infamous letter the night before and did not know what the procedure was. We hung around the atrium until most of the passengers got off then got in line. We were in line with the DVC rep who also was reboarding, so we followed her lead. She did tell us we needed a reboarding card, which we got when we checked in. Anyway, you go through customs and then back up the escalator to the terminal. Check in with the folks, as you had before, then they put us in holding area where concierge usually stays. Within the hour, they opened the secret door and we went back on to the ship. No picture taking or announcing our names. We were off the ship for about 1 hour.
