Search on any sites you want (I prefer to use Kayak to get an idea of price and best times, etc).

Right. But if you search for airfare on a travel search engine (like kayak), they don't sell anything. You click through to the seller's site.

If you're going to use a search engine, why not let it benefit from the few cents they get per clickthrough?
