Best way to get from the Contemporary to GF around 6:30-6:45 on 12/1 during MVMCP

We are staying at AKL, we have a PS for Chef Mickey's on 12/1 at 5:30pm. After we have dinner at Chef Mickey's we wanted to head to GF to see the Gingerbread house and tour the hotel.

What is the best option for going from AKL to Chef Mickey's then on to GF then back to AKL. We are not so worried about getting to Chef Mickey's but are worried about the crowds going to MVMCP around the same time that we would want to head to GF.

What is the best way to get from the Contemporary to GF around 6:30-6:45 on 12/1 during a MVMCP night? What options do we have?

Take the monorail from the CR to GF. You'll be on the resort line and shouldn't have a problem getting on as the CR is the first stop AFTER the crowds get off at the MK. After your visit to the GF, hop the monorail to the MK and catch an AKL bus. Better yet if the night is warm enough and IF they're operating during the party, take the launch to the MK. It's fun and very pretty to see all the lights at night from the launch. You catch it at the boat dock near Narcoossee's.

From AK Lodge, just hop the Magic Kingdom bus. Once at the MK, you can either take the Monorail to the Contemporary, or you can walk. It's almost the same distance from the bus stop to the Monorail Station as it is from the bus stop to the Contemporary.

Once at the Contemporary... take the Resort Monorail to the Grand Floridian...

From the Grand Floridian, take the Monorail (or as previously suggested, the launch, if its warm enough) to the Magic Kingdom, and catch the AK Lodge bus from there.
