Best way to request a specific room?

My family and I are headed down on Dec. 1st and we are staying at SSR. We would like to request a room with a view of Downtown Disney. What is the best way to do this?

Any help would be great.

Call MS and ask that the CM add your request - "view of Downtown Disney" to your reservation.

Do keep in mind that this is a popular request and you may not get it. It would help to arrive relatively early in the day and repeat your request at check in. Offer to wait to get into the room if that means you will receive your request.

Assuming you are a DVC member and not a renter, call Member Services and add that request to your reservation. If you are a renter, contact the member you rented from and have them add the request.

Either way, requests are not guaranteed, but the resort will try to honor it.
