Birthdays at hotels

Hello!
Staying at Royal Pacific soon, and it will be my son’s 6th birthday.
I know Disney does little “celebrations” for birthdays (balloons, pins, etc).
Does Universal do anything special for birthdays like this? Should I call the hotel and have it noted on our reservation?
Also, any other places or experiences you could recommend that are special for a birthday are welcome! (We are doing the Marvel character dinner bc he is super into superheroes.)
Thanks in advance!

Have it noted in your reservation
You should receive a birthday button then when you check in

This is a free item to the guest

The hotels have a listing of many things you can buy/order in advance
Check out the uo website for a link

With the new and improved website, I don’t find it to be a quick find or I would have posted it here

We do have the posting info about it in the RPR sticky which is in the hotel forum

It can be placed in your room and usually there when you are in the room

Items range from gifts, food, sweets, balloons, banners, etc

Wear the button in the parks

Some have posted they did receive treats while almost all have stated they received numerous happy birthday wishes from all the staff and TM’s

Many of the water taxi captains will comment when they see someone wearing a celebration button
