Breakfast & Lunch on the Go With & Without Bread

If bread is your weakness because you want something you can eat out of hand while driving, a simple tactic is to use English muffins for sandwiches (they really need to be toasted to taste good, but even if they get cold later, the toasting still works.)

English muffins have close to half the calories and carbs of most other breads because of all the bubbles in them; those holes full of nothing at all.
 
Have you tried any protein shakes? Its quick and easy for on the go. I use the Beverly International UMP Vanilla protein powder, 2 Tbs of powdered peanut butter, and i toss in spinach and blend with either almond milk or water and ice. Can't taste the spinach at all! It tastes like a peanut butter shake but it has protein and veggies.

Protein is the key.
