CA trip questions

hi we have been to WDW numerous times but never WDL. At wdw we are usually at the gate well before rope drop and are efficient in getting in many rides before crowds get crazy. At wdw, we usually spend:
MK 3-4 days
Epcot 1-2 days
AK 1/2 day
HS 1 day
This allows us to go on all the rides many times.

My questionnis how many days do you think we need in WDL and universal CA?

First, this thread will give you lots of helpful information for your trip planning:A DLR Guide for WDW Vets. This thread also has good information: Choosing the Right DLR Area Hotel for You.

Next, the common abbreviation around here for the Disneyland Resort is DLR. Using that will help you get more info if you do any searches.

If the budget and schedule allow, 5 days at DLR is great. That will allow for rides (and repeats!), shows, TS meals and dining packages, shopping, pool time, a beach day, etc. Definitely do park hopper tickets -- the parks are so close together that they're really more like one big park.
USH is an actual working studio, so the theme park is smaller than its Orlando counterpart. One day should be enough, unless you really like the rides and want two days.

Lastly, try posting this thread in the Disneyland (California) forum -- you'll get so much good advice there from very experienced posters!
