Canadian Buffoon's Back to Front Vacation - Update! 05/18 - Falling Down

Just popping in right quick. I'm so excited. "The Art of Racing in the Rain" comes out Aug 9th.

Oooh! I'm going to have to
make a mental note
(i.e. I'll definitely forget...
but hopefully remember
when it comes out.)
to see it!

Milo Ventimiglia is playing Denny. He plays the strong silent type so well.

I know him from "Heroes",
but... not from "This is Us"

It's very hard to chose, but I think this is my favorite. But I really like all the waterfall pictures. I like the pizza picture too but it's missing black olives.

Okay, two falls down,
one more to go.
(There are actually 39 named
water falls in the park,
but these are both the most
notable and closest.)

Gorgeous! 39?! That's amazing.

Apparently, that's called
the Mush Bowl.
Sorry, I don't know mush
about it.

It doesn't have mush room.

And it rained during the night.
Good call. :)

:rotfl:This is how I've come to own 927 Disney ponchos.

The sign on the door said:
"Closed due to death
in the family."
:sad1::sad1:

And you a golf fan. :sad2:

I try and stay out of the woods when I golf.

It doesn't usually work.

Oh, no. It's Canada.
Of course it's flowing
with beer.

This isn't Canada, it's heaven!

But good beer. Not that
crappy stuff you guys
call beer.

Not really a Heinecken fan myself. But I think that's German. Oh, who knows anymore.

Yeah but he kept talking
about string theory.

I retract my statement. Nerd alert!

Dude.
I drove through it.
You think I wanna
talk about it?????

I'd be surprised if you remember any of it.

It's either maple syrup,
or beer.

You decide.

Nice beaver! I vote both.

And it tasted better too.

I have never eaten there, yet I believe you.

It doesn't usually work.

There are Tigers there.

This isn't Canada, it's heaven!

The terms are interchangeable.

Actually... Dutch.
I was thinking of something else.
Michelob, probably.

I retract my statement. Nerd alert!

::yes::

I'd be surprised if you remember any of it.

It's all just a blur.
A long, boring, blur.

Nice beaver! I vote both.

:thumbsup2

I have never eaten there, yet I believe you.

How could you not.
When you start at the
bottom, there's not where
to go but up.

Well...

Don't ask.
Uh oh. How many more days do you have until a day off?

 Eep!
You don't call animal control
to get it to move on?
Oh they're quite obsessed with the fact they have a bear chilling in their backyard. I get nightly photos :sad2: Several weeks ago (and before the bear's appearance), I was meeting them at their house and it was a beautiful day so instead of letting myself in and waiting inside, I just swung (with my back to the woods) on the swing set out back. It gives me chills just to think of what could have been lurking not too far from my unprotected back :scared1:

I just saw the trailer for this movie yesterday and when I saw the title I thought, "Hey that is the book I read about on the Dis." It looks really good.
Fingers crossed...
But the movies are
seldom as good as
the books.

Apparently tonight my comments are all related to food controversies. I, also *whispers* prefer lighter gravy on my poutine - sorry to poutine connoisseurs, but KFC makes a pretty yummy cholesterol bowl!
OMG...

KFC? KFC?????

Uh oh. How many more days do you have until a day off?

Uh... I have May 29th (maybe) off.
Then I have five more days and then
I might get some days off.

Maybe.

As of this morning, I'm working
18 8-hour shifts over 15 days.

I'm already burned out.

Oh well. Only 16 more hours
to go today until I'm done
for the day!

You know... I can understand that.
It's a novelty.

Until it breaks into the house.

I know!
You could've had a close
encounter with... this:

Have I told you my pizza/olives story?

I don't think so but I know you don't like them. Neither does my DH.

I just saw the trailer for this movie yesterday and when I saw the title I thought, "Hey that is the book I read about on the Dis." It looks really good.

Yes it does!

Fingers crossed...
But the movies are

This is true but I still like to give it a shot. I think the only movie I've liked better than the book was "The Help". There was more humor in the movie.

100% agree. I will have to read the book before the movie.

Yes do! I didn't thing I would like it but I loved it!
