Canadian Buffoon's Exhausted Vacation - Update 09/01 - New TR link!

I do not and I even tried to look it up and no joy.
Interesting.
Possibly because you don't use Google.
It's the first two results there.

It's a quote from MASH. Funny scene.
Good thing you didn't leave out the f.
I know how you are at Disney and figured earlier, but then again, this was a non-Disney day and can't blame you for not wanting to get up early to come see ME.
Well, as you saw, I had plans
that couldn't be postponed.
If I came over in the afternoon,
it would've been an awfully
short visit.

It was too short as it was.
Only about 40-45 minutes. We're about as far East as we can be and still be in Orlando. I wish we were closer some times....it's nice being this close though.
You're a tad closer than I am.

And... this is interesting!
I was going to say you and I
were the same length of time
away from Disney, except you're
in hours and I'm in minutes.

But I thought it wasn't 40 hours...

So... when I Google mapped
the drive years ago, it gave me
something like 34 hours.
Last year it gave me 30.
Now it gives me 29.

Combination of new roads
(this for sure... the route used
to take me through Chicago
and Indianapolis.
Now it hits neither) and perhaps

higher speed limits(?)
No, no, no...that's the Holiday Inn, not the Soliday inn.
Sheesh, Canadians! :rotfl2:
Stoopid autocorrect!
And then they have to take it to the VAB and then the very slow transport vehicle.
::yes::
And they have a lot farther
to go to ASMu.

If it's a front shirt pocket, I'm not thinking that's very impressive.
I beg to differ.
If it was a shirt pocket,
that would be incredibly

impressive.
Also, knowing how you thought the mug I got for Elle was so cool.
::yes::
I've already found something else Ariel for our next meetup....well...if you're crazy enough again.
You really don't have to
get me stuff, you know. :)

Correct placement of the mirrors is everything.
I KNEW IT!!!!
She is quite the distraction, isn't she. Hard to concentrate when she's licking your hand.
::yes::
Not true. I had just given her a bath a couple days earlier.
I know I'm biased, but adorable is true.
Okay... clean trick.
I was consternated because I thought I had found something unique for you and they were CLOSED!!! The place I really wanted to take you was too far away and too time consuming. I know how much you like ice cream, so I wanted to something NOT ordinary.
Wait... so that wasn't the
actual ice cream place?

#reasontovisit
go figure...people eat ice cream on Thursday too.
Incredible!
At least it wasn't your border crossing look.
No one wants to see that.
Or any of me.
But that one even less.
We did too. Any time. And I do mean any time...you're always welcome.
:goodvibes
It's funny how I take pictures now where before, I just walked by.
Ditto.
And when the AP lapses,
(and I doubt I'll renew it)

I will go back to walking on by.
It's blue! I would think your experience with the key lime pie on a stick would have taught you.
Good point.
I think your description of the key lime pie and apple (whatever it was) were worse.
True.
Wood would taste better.

I can prove you're certifiable...you met me twice in as many days AND you had met me before.
I knew you had once before, but not twice.
Yep.
Third time.
Shows how much I enjoy it.
That sucks. Sorry.
Ah well... still fun.
Just a little less so.

No, and to be honest, I'm not certain what you're trying to illustrate there. I re-read it several times.
Just asking if you emphasized
the quoted words in your head.

They didn't let you keep the wetsuit?
No.
And it wouldn't be of much
use to me anyway.
It's a shorty.
And not nearly thick enough.
(Here, even in summer, you need
full length+boots+gloves+hood

and 1/4" thick neoprene.)
And this is a problem for us, how?
:duck:
Valid point.
Still where it was before.
Not really.
Sorry about that.
I can understand that. Good thing they don't have barracuda in there.
Heh. Might make for a better
show for the people watching.

The fish I could understand, but I am unaware of dolphins attacking humans.
"Attack" is the wrong word.
We were warned to stay at least
6' away from the barrier.
They were concerned that a dolphin
might "playfully" grab a stray strap

or worse hose and hold on.
I enjoyed this so much, I got it twice (or maybe thrice).
:)
I think I avoided the burger because of spicy, but I'll take your word for it. I really, really enjoyed the smoked corned beef.
I don't think it was spicy?
We had the stroganoff, but not the others. I tried the cheesecake last year and did not like it at all. We enjoyed the stroganoff.
I remember you not liking the
cheesecake there and hesitated
on getting it. But I found it to

be okay. Not great... but okay.

Wonder if anyone recognizes
that quote?

Not at all.

I got to sleep around 12:30am
and for whatever reason, was
up at 4:00am. I tossed and turned
and finally fell back asleep at 5:00am.

Yikes.

Curse of an aging shift-worker.

I know it all too well! Although, it usually doesn't affect me in Disney.

"Of course, sir. We just need to
attach the external tank and
booster rockets and we'll have
you on your way in not time."

Sounds reasonable to me.

I mean... it shouldn't take anyone more
than 20 minutes to get ready and go, right?

Uhhh it usually takes me 20 minutes to convince myself to get out of bed.

he got me a mug that is black,
but when heated shows a scene.

Oo that's really cool!

Yummm...
Ice cream is one of the
best things in life.
Possibly the best thing.

Yup agreed.

I stopped at the gas station
that's near the MK parking
booths (you have to go through
them to return the car...

Hm so if you weren't staying on property or an AP would you have to pay the parking fee to get to the car rental?

Oddly enough, the gas station
wouldn't take a MB as payment.

Ridiculous.

It was Food & Wine of course,
(you have been paying attention, right?
Tell me if you have or haven't.)

For the most pa....ooh squirrel!

Disney is really slipping with
their snacks. This one tasted
like it was made of wood!

It goes along with the paper straws!

DSC08185_zpsa5xdgydk.jpg

Gorgeous!

I was going into the Seas, but
I was really going into it.
I was doing Divequest that
afternoon.
The entrance/meeting point
is outside the park by
customer relations.

So to go into the Seas, you had to leave the Seas? Disney logic.

Did you just read that like this?

Still, there were kids who were
thrilled to
Play with the Disney
diver
which was cool for them
I'm
sure.

Well, did you?

Yes actually

The reason I noticed is because
it makes for a cute video.
And that's all the videographer shot.
There were zero shots of me, so...
I didn't bother to buy a video
of other people swimming.

Wow that's really annoying. You'd think they'd be trained to get everyone on there.

Smoked Corned Beef
(with Crispy Potatoes, Cheese Curds,
Pickled Onions and Beer-Cheese Fondue.)

This was delicious!

Not at all.
Quote from MASH.
It's been a while, but I
used to be able to do
the dialogue along with

the actors.
Toldja I was tired.
I know it all too well! Although, it usually doesn't affect me in Disney.
You're too young.
But... Read that chapter of yours.
Yikes!
Sounds reasonable to me.
Right? I mean, do I not
deserve that???

Don't answer that.
Uhhh it usually takes me 20 minutes to convince myself to get out of bed.
Even at Disney? ;)
Oo that's really cool!
Very much so! :)
Yup agreed.
::yes::
We all scream for it...
Hm so if you weren't staying on property or an AP would you have to pay the parking fee to get to the car rental?
I was told to just tell them
I was returning a rental car.

So... if you ever want

free parking at MK...
For the most pa....ooh squirrel!
It goes along with the paper straws!
I despise those.
Gorgeous!
Thanks! :goodvibes
So to go into the Seas, you had to leave the Seas? Disney logic.
To be one with the Seas,
one must leave the Seas.

Ancient ocean proverb.
Yes actually
I think you're one of the few
(or maybe the only one) to admit it.

Wow that's really annoying. You'd think they'd be trained to get everyone on there.
It surprised me
quite a bit, actually.

This was delicious!
::yes::

I knew it was from M*A*S*H without Google assistance :rotfl2:

Bummer that your dive wasn't as good as previously! At least your food looked amazing afterwards

Just Friends, Sir

Wonder if anyone recognizes

Hot lips Houlihan when Frank Burns' name was mentioned by a visiting officer...

Did you just read that like this? Ummm, No.

Still, there were kids who were
thrilled to
Play with the Disney

which was cool for them
I'm
sure.

Well, did you?

That would still be a "No". But I am THRILLED to admit that!
How's your stomach? Good! I am enjoying a batch of deep fried cheese curds and watching the Badger Game!

Feeling better? Of course. You can't have deep fried cheese curds without a beer, so I feel great!

Hot lips Houlihan when Frank Burns' name was mentioned by a visiting officer...
Yes!
But it wasn't a visiting officer.
It was when Col. Potter arrived.

:)
That would still be a "No". But I am THRILLED to admit that!
Well done.
Good! I am enjoying a batch of deep fried cheese curds and watching the Badger Game!
I'm thinking those tasted
better in the first half, than
in the second half.

Sorry about that.

27 unanswered points! Ouch.
Of course. You can't have deep fried cheese curds without a beer, so I feel great!

::yes::
I don't remember for sure and I'm
at work so can't check.
I think there's a tiny screw that
holds the fob in, that you can undo.
Or two screws.
But for sure you need a small screwdriver.
You can put it in a lanyard fob
(like the picture below) or buy
an attachment to put it on a

regular watch strap.
I did it last trip and LOVED only wearing one thing around my wrist. I bought a puck holder off of Etsy and slipped it onto my iWatch band and best thing ever. I also used my white castle one too to mix it up on occasion but love the one with the watch. Easy to remove. 2 small screws and an oval part that comes off.

Thanks for that. :)
Did you see that @franandaj ?

Look... we're not talking about
movies that you have seen, lady.

Fine. But this limits our conversation rather severely.

I just had a thought!

"So I woke up four hours early
and got to the park 30 minutes early
and stood in line until it opened.
Then I was lockstepped with several
hundred rabid tourists... but I didn't
wait in line for the ride! How about you?"

"I slept in until 10am, took a long hot shower,
made my way to the empty tapstyles and then
stood in line for 30 minutes for the ride."

"Ha! What a sucker! You stood in line for 30 minutes!"

:rolleyes1

Okay, I can see that line of reasoning too, but I'd sure rather wait in long lines when it NOT HOT at 2:00 in the afternoon!!! That, My Friends, is Peter Pan Float time.

Well, this is possibly true...

But none of it matters if you don't
have something good to work with.
I don't really care how good your
equipment or PS skills are if you

can't take a half decent photo.

Then, we shall both be impressed with one another's photos and call it a win-win. :)

Hey! No fair!
Then you have to right-handed.
(I think you're left-handed, no?)

If I withhold that information then I can use either hand, right?

I don't know for sure...
but I'm fairly sure you're right.

Hmmm....

I'd looked into the price of a Lyft
and the cost was just about double
what it would cost me to rent
a car and go. So rent, I shall.

That way you could get more Dole Whips with the money you just saved.

I mean... it shouldn't take anyone more
than 20 minutes to get ready and go, right?

Well... yes. I guess? But, that means showering the night before.

I grabbed Betty (the GPS) and my wallet,
and shoved my sunglasses w/case into
a front pocket, which looks very impressive,
let me tell ya.

Betty? Check! Wallet? Check! Hammock? Che...

Who closes shop on a Thursday??

The folks who sell less ice cream.

And surprisingly they were open!
On a Thursday!

No. WAY!

Oddly enough, the gas station
wouldn't take a MB as payment.

:lmao:
My destination was here:

DSC08185_zpsa5xdgydk.jpg

I know where to!!!

We were shown where they prep
food for the fish/mammals and
the manatee backstage area.

I love this! I think you can see the animal ones at AK on one of the tours too.

I must admit that I was just a bit...
disappointed with this dive.

Well poop! I know how much you've enjoyed them in the past.

Did you just read that like this?

Still, there were kids who were

No, I didn't.

Which translates to no
photos/screen grabs for you.

Well, that's super disappointing.

Smoked Corned Beef
(with Crispy Potatoes, Cheese Curds,
Pickled Onions and Beer-Cheese Fondue.)

I had that in 2016 and adored it! Didn't get it this year as I stuck with new stuff mostly.

I wandered over to the
Cheese Studio and...
ordered everything.

Impressive!!!

That was really good.

I really enjoyed that one too. I got the flight in fact and that was my fave!

Fine. But this limits our conversation rather severely.
Whelp! That's enough about that, then!
Okay, I can see that line of reasoning too, but I'd sure rather wait in long lines when it NOT HOT at 2:00 in the afternoon!!! That, My Friends, is Peter Pan Float time.
Good point!
And... you get more done

Then, we shall both be impressed with one another's photos and call it a win-win. :)
Works for me!

::yes::
I'm all about more Dole Whip.
Well... yes. I guess? But, that means showering the night before.

Haven't done that, but have
read about it.

No, I didn't.
That's okay.
I do. :)

Well, that's super disappointing.
It super was.
I like getting that video.
Oh well...
I had that in 2016 and adored it! Didn't get it this year as I stuck with new stuff mostly.
I get that...
New to me, I think.
At least I don't recall it?
Impressive!!!
I'd been swimming!
I was hangry!

I really enjoyed that one too. I got the flight in fact and that was my fave!
I thought about getting the flight.
I'm glad I picked the right one. :)

I arrived at the house where
for some strange reason,
I was warmly received by Doc.
He surprised me with a nice gift.
Knowing my... interest... in Ariel,
he got me a mug that is black,
but when heated shows a scene.
Here's a photo I snapped when
I made some hot chocolate the
other day:
Great mug!
Yummm...
Ice cream is one of the
best things in life.
Possibly the best thing.

Proof that we were there...
Ice cream is the best thing! If you are ever in my neck of the woods, you must check out Kawartha Dairy. The yummiest ice cream ever!
You know what?
I have an AP.
I have a few minutes
to spare and I really
need to take advantage
of the free Photopass...
Love the pictures!
I took the photo and promptly turned
around and marched out of the park.

:rolleyes1

I was going into the Seas, but
I was really going into it.
I was doing Divequest that
afternoon.
The entrance/meeting point
is outside the park by
customer relations.

There was a small group already
there and I joined in the waiting.
A few minutes later, our group
was gathered by a CM and we
were asked to present proof
of dive certification and our
wetsuit and shoe size.
The dive sounds great but too bad about the pictures and video.
I wandered over to the
Cheese Studio and...
ordered everything.
I had the Braised Beef “Stroganoff”
(with Tiny Egg Noodles, Wild Mushrooms
and Boursin Garlic and Fine Herbs Cheese Sauce),
The Black Pepper Boursin Soufflé (with Fig Marmalade)
and the Maple Bourbon Cheesecake for dessert
(with Maple Bourbon Cream, Caramel and Pecan Crunch.)
Looks yummy except for the pecans. Those are deadly for me.

Jeez! I go away for a week and miss a whole update! Truthfully, I saw you posted an update but I was on my phone and figured I'd never "see it" on my phone and thought I'd have time when I got home. Oh well, I stink at your game anyway so I don't think I lost a huge lead.

Too many days with too little
sleep, I suppose will do that.

I was in the same boat…I got home last night at 11:30 pm Saturday night and woke at the ungodly hour of 4:45 am Sunday morning to head to work. Bad planning on my part, but I thought someone would switch with me so I could have the day off but that didn't work out. I was a zombie at work and completely knocked out by 9:30 pm last night.

I get few perks with my job,
but "Emerald" status with
National Car Rental is one.
What that means is I can usually
skip any lines that might exist.
Today was no exception.
I walked up to the Emerald
desk and was served right away.
Moments later I was on my way.

:thumbsup2

You deserve something for all your crazy hours.

It always surprises me a bit
when I walk into a 7-11 in the US
and they only have 2-4 Slurpee
flavours.
Up here, the store closest to my
home has 16 different flavours.

It kind of surprises me that you walk into a 7-11. And that you know that.

This building is deceptively large.
At first glance, you kind of shrug
and move on...
But the VAB is the 4th largest
building in the world by volume.
Each stripe on the US flag
is as wide as a standard bus.
I've photoshopped one on, for scale:

DSC08108b_zpspjsefgok.jpg

Holy moly

Times have changed.
The Saturn rocket is huge.
The various stages are
lined up in order and span
a distance of over 360'.
Or longer than a football field.

DSC08075_zpsajpayvtl.jpg

DSC08076_zpsy3wk1grw.jpg

Impressive!

The Command Module is this
little bit that I've highlighted
for you, in case you weren't
aware/sure which it was:

I was not.

The story goes...
Nasa needed a pen to write in space.
A normal pen uses gravity to get
the ink flowing and of course that wouldn't
work in outer space. What to do?
So NASA put their brightest minds
to work and spent millions of dollars
to invent a pen that would work in
zero gravity...

The Russians used a pencil.

:rotfl:

So... a pencil... made of graphite...
which is highly flammable.
Not to mention...
You know when you use a pencil
and you have to wipe the graphite
dust off the paper?
You really don't want that stuff
floating around and getting into
the sensitive electronics.

So if anyone every tells you
that "joke", you now have the
information to go and set 'em straight.

So there.

Oh wow, makes sense but who would think of that? I guess that's why I am not a NASA Scientist.

Challenger:

DSC08139_zpsrn4g94ln.jpg

I remember the day this happened. So sad :sad1:

And on that sad note,
I had to say goodbye to
Doc and Coni.

IMG_2842_zpsea4aujzd.jpg

Great pic!

Eventually my ADR time came up
and I made my way over to
Chez Fart Smith's Homecomin'.

Love this place :lovestruc

I ordered a drink
(No idea what it was)
and an appetizer,
a half order of deviled eggs.

IMG_2844_zps9oj93obz.jpg

These were really good!
Possibly the best I've had.
The bacon helped.

They are amazing! It's nice that you can get a half order ::yes::

The young couple in line in front
of me were weighing their options
and I told them that they could
catch an ASSp bus too. They promptly
got out of line and went over to the
nearly empty ASSp line.
Of course as soon as they did,
a bus arrived for ASMu/ASMo.
It was less than a minute, which
I expected, but... how was Disney
going to make this happen for me?
I mean... waiting under a minute
I expect, but... not being able to get on?

Of course Disney saw this and had
already devised a solution.
The first bus was filled to capacity
and pulled away... and a second bus
immediately pulled in to the vacant
spot and I boarded.
It was nice of them to provide a nearly
empty bus for me.

Ugh…we just got back from a trip and stayed at ASMo and had awful bus luck. Tell me again where I can obtain one of those fancy bus passes??

Wonder if anyone recognizes
that quote?
Anyways...

:confused3

(when cool, the entire mug is the colour of the handle.)

Cool!

Okay... I'm mean... but...
I kinda found it funny how
consternated he looked when
we saw it was closed!
Who closes shop on a Thursday??

That is quite odd. I've seen Sunday or Monday, but never Thursday o_O

You know what?
I have an AP.
I have a few minutes

Very nice. That quote on your shirt is one of Mike's favorites.

It was Food & Wine of course,
(you have been paying attention, right?
Tell me if you have or haven't.)

I forget if I was or not :P

so the photographer handed me
what I assumed was a snack.
Hey! A giant cookie! All right!

524139918b_zps2rdxiefr.jpg

Disney is really slipping with
their snacks. This one tasted
like it was made of wood!

Yum!

We were shown where they prep
food for the fish/mammals and
the manatee backstage area.

We just went and saw the Manatee tank the other day, except they weren't in there. I don't know if they were hiding, but all we saw was a big tank full of Romaine Lettuce floating around. It's not as exciting as it sounds.

I've posted about this dive before
and you can read more about it here.

I remember reading about that in your report :thumbsup2

Did you just read that like this?

Would I do it again?
Absolutely.
But was it as great as
the last two times.
Unfortunately, no.

Bummer!

Feeling a bit thirsty, I grabbed
a Tropical Mimosa from the
Shimmering Sips Mimosa Bar.

IMG_2857_zpsafq1iico.jpg

That was really good.

Pretty :-)

I arrived at the stop at 8:35pm
and was on the bus 2 minutes later.
I was tired, so didn't complain
about the 2-minute wait,
although I'd be totally justified,
don't you think?

Yes, of course.

Good point!
And... you get more done
with rope drop anyways.

Indeed, 6 or 8 rides for their 1 or 2.

I'm restricting you to
your (blistered) feet.

I have many talents with my feet.
I showered and shaved that morning.

So then I'll assumed you skipped deodorant.

Hey now!!!

:lmao:

;)

I would hope so!
There's a sign right there!

I knew more specifically. :)

Just Friends, Sir

Wonder if anyone recognizes

Sorry I didn't get this one.

Perfect gift for you. Good job @docsoliday1

Okay, it wasn't 20 games,
it was more like 4-5.
And he beat me every time.
The sun was in my eyes
and he sent his dog out
to distract me.
Which is a dirty trick,
but adorable.

Excuses, excuses, excuses.

Yummm...
Ice cream is one of the
best things in life.
Possibly the best thing.

I LOVE ice cream!

I wouldn't need either the GPS
or the wallet since I was going
to a park.
I slapped on my MB and was
ready to go.

This made me worry as soon as I read it.

Oddly enough, the gas station
wouldn't take a MB as payment.

See, I knew you would regret it.

I have a few minutes
to spare and I really
need to take advantage
of the free Photopass...

Great photo of you!!

This is a beautiful shot. Worth walking all the way there and then back to the front.

I must admit that I was just a bit...
disappointed with this dive.
Usually, (I've done this two prior times)
when I do this dive, I interact with the
guests either in the observation area(s)
or in the Coral Reef restaurant.
I'm usually the only one who does it.
This time, it seemed like everyone was
doing it and so there were fewer
opportunities to interact.

I'm sorry. I've read of at least one of your other dives and know how much fun you had.

Well, did you?

Nope.

Would I do it again?
Absolutely.
But was it as great as
the last two times.
Unfortunately, no.

I'm happy to hear you haven't given up.

I wandered over to the
Cheese Studio and...
ordered everything.

These all look really delicious.

That was really good.
I'd definitely have that again.

Looks very refreshing.

Sorry I got behind again but I did enjoy the 2 updated I was behind on. Since we're leaving in 5 days I'm sure I will get even further behind.

Wonder if anyone recognizes
that quote?

It's been mentioned several times already, but the quote is from M*A*S*H. My husband loves that show!

Ice cream is one of the

Dessert is certainly one of the best things in life... ice cream is usually fine. I actually like it much more now than I did before... I LOVED ice cream while pregnant and that seemed to stick after M arrived. I'll usually pick cake or some other dessert over ice cream, but I do enjoy it!

I'm glad you had a great time with Doc and Coni! The mug he gave you is PERFECT for you!

Did you just read that like this?

You bet I did! :rotfl:

There were zero shots of me, so...
I didn't bother to buy a video
of other people swimming.

What a bummer of an experience! I know you really (usually) enjoy the dive experience, so it's really too bad that both the dive itself and the video were so lackluster for you. I hope your next experience is better!

opted for the
Smoked Corned Beef
(with Crispy Potatoes, Cheese Curds,
Pickled Onions and Beer-Cheese Fondue.)

That looks SO GOOD! I do love corned beef (and cheese!) so that dish looks completely up my alley. Yum!

I wandered over to the
Cheese Studio and...
ordered everything.

:rotfl: You certainly did!

Everything looks very good, though!

I'm glad you finally enjoyed an early night. I'm hoping that early night resulted in lots of good sleep!

Great mug!
It is! I like it a lot. :)
Ice cream is the best thing!
::yes::
If you are ever in my neck of the woods, you must check out Kawartha Dairy. The yummiest ice cream ever!
Oh! Thanks for the tip!
I get out that way on
occasion... I'll try to remember.

Have you been to Greg's on Spadina?
Love the pictures!
Thanks! :)
The dive sounds great but too bad about the pictures and video.
Yeah, bit of a bummer.
Ah well... I didn't do it for
the video... but it would've

been nice.
Looks yummy except for the pecans. Those are deadly for me.
I picked them off.
I'm not allergic (like I presume
you are), but they do cause

me some irritation.

Oddly enough, the gas station
wouldn't take a MB as payment.
I would hate that, everywhere should take MB as payment
Disney is really slipping with
their snacks. This one tasted
like it was made of wood!
Yes, that did not look like it tasted good at all! Sugar cookie it is not!
I was doing Divequest that
afternoon.
Very cool!
Usually I don't have to prove
to people that I'm certifiable,
:sad2::rotfl:
Still, there were kids who were
thrilled to "play" with the "Disney
diver" which was "cool" for them
I'm "sure".
Sorry it wasn’t as fun as your other dives, it would be cool to interact with the kids!
There were zero shots of me, so...
That is a bummer, boo to the person taking the videos!
opted for the
Smoked Corned Beef
(with Crispy Potatoes, Cheese Curds,
Pickled Onions and Beer-Cheese Fondue.)
I tried this in 2018 and I really liked it
I had the Braised Beef “Stroganoff”
Yum!
The Black Pepper Boursin Soufflé (with Fig Marmalade)
and the Maple Bourbon Cheesecake for dessert
Those look really good with interesting combinations
I grabbed
a Tropical Mimosa from the
Shimmering Sips Mimosa Bar.
This looks very good. I think regular mimosas are just okay, this sounds better with a tropical juice!
How nice you were able to spend more time with Doc and his wife, even if he beat you at pool!

Jeez! I go away for a week and miss a whole update!
T73U.gif
Truthfully, I saw you posted an update but I was on my phone and figured I'd never "see it" on my phone and thought I'd have time when I got home. Oh well, I stink at your game anyway so I don't think I lost a huge lead.
But you got your guesses in,
so you're still in the game. :)

I was in the same boat…I got home last night at 11:30 pm Saturday night and woke at the ungodly hour of 4:45 am Sunday morning to head to work.
I do that once a week.
Also once a week, I get up
at 5am and don't get to bed

until after 7am the next day.
Bad planning on my part, but I thought someone would switch with me so I could have the day off but that didn't work out. I was a zombie at work and completely knocked out by 9:30 pm last night.
I totally understand the
zombie part. ::yes::

You deserve something for all your crazy hours.
Can I have a pile of cash?
It kind of surprises me that you walk into a 7-11. And that you know that.
Um... why?
You mean I should sashay in, instead?
I know it because I was so shocked to
see only 2 flavours in a US 7-11...

And... I'm from the Slurpee capital
of the world. So of course I'd know.

Google it.
Holy moly
See? Big.
I was not.
Now you are. :)
Oh wow, makes sense but who would think of that? I guess that's why I am not a NASA Scientist.
Oh, come on Kelly...
It's not rocket science.

Oh... wait... yes it is.

Nevermind!
I remember the day this happened. So sad :sad1:
I know.
I'm sure you remember exactly where
you were and what you were doing.
Great pic!
Thanks! They look great.
I ruin the photo.

Love this place :lovestruc
It was my first time.
Won't be my last!!

They are amazing! It's nice that you can get a half order ::yes::
I would've ordered a full order
if they couldn't halve it.

Ugh…we just got back from a trip and stayed at ASMo and had awful bus luck. Tell me again where I can obtain one of those fancy bus passes??
I believe it's a Canadian resident offer.
It's from MASH. :)
That is quite odd. I've seen Sunday or Monday, but never Thursday o_O
I think we were all surprised.
Very nice. That quote on your shirt is one of Mike's favorites.
::yes::
Originally from Lord of the Rings,
it's also Harley Davidson's unofficial motto.

I forget if I was or not :P
Close enough!
We just went and saw the Manatee tank the other day, except they weren't in there. I don't know if they were hiding, but all we saw was a big tank full of Romaine Lettuce floating around. It's not as exciting as it sounds.
They were probably in back.
The tank on the other side of the wall
is just as big with a raise-able floor.
No…I don't get it :confused3
Just wondered if you emphasised
the words I put in parentheses.

That stinks. They couldn't get at least one shot of you?
Apparently... no.
Yes, of course.
Right??????????

I do that once a week.
Also once a week, I get up
at 5am and don't get to bed

until after 7am the next day.

That is insane. I don't think I could handle that every week.

Oh, come on Kelly...
It's not rocket science.

I know.
I'm sure you remember exactly where
you were and what you were doing.

I do ::yes::

Thanks! They look great.
I ruin the photo.

Not at all. You all look great!

I would've ordered a full order
if they couldn't halve it.

I totally would too 😋
