Canadian Buffoon's Semi-EPIC Vacation - 10/29 - Link to new TR!

I'm doing some last-minute packing in order to leave tomorrow, so I didn't multi-quote as I would have liked. But holy crow, some long lines at DHS! I guess May the Fourth had a serious impact?! And I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed the Frozen show! I really enjoy it as well, because as you say, it's hilarious. Your review of Mama Melrose makes me excited for our trip since, as I mentioned over on Liesa's TR, we're going for the first time soon! Also, my goodness, what an intense job the lifeguards have! I had heard that it's a very difficult job (in general, but especially at Disney) and requires an insane level of hyper-focus, but your story really illustrates that.

Oh dear God.
Yeah...
I know. I know!

I really, REALLY hope the new entrance is going to help this colassal boondoggle they call bag check soon.
Well, based on Disney's
track record lately with
"upgrades"...
I expect it will become

more like... Epcot.
I concur. Amazing cup of perfection on a hot day!
Ah! So you've had it.
Soooo good!

... um, so does this mean you don't like the ride? Choose your answer wisely...
I love the ride.
I also love having fun
on it, too. ;)
Dang it. I KNEW I should have booked this instead of Prime Time!
Well, I can't say that
the risotto would be there
every day.

It was the special that day.
They did?
So she got it right???

Huh!
Stooping low. Snoooooooooooooooozer.
Yeah.
Hope to never have to
do it again.
I have done that either, and will in a few weeks.
I'm sure you and your
kids will get a kick
out of it. :)
Sounds like the March of the 1st Order was back on! You didn't miss it afterall!
:lmao:

Rise and shine!
It's moving day!
We both got up at 7:30am
and finished packing up
all of our shtuff.
We stuffed our shtuff and
packed our packages and
were out the door under
an hour later.

Goodbye OKW room!

I love that picture :lovestruc I didn't realize you did a split stay, can't wait to see where you moved to!

I mean, it's not high season
or (worse) Christmas season.
It's May! Nice, sedate, May.
May the fourth, to be precise.

:sad2:

That's twice…in the same trip. One more slip-up like that and they'll revoke your DISBoards membership.

Would it surprise you to
know that at 10am the
wait time for TOT was
110 minutes and RNRC was
already up to 115 minutes?

422903841_zpsozoprsdk.jpg

Crazy waits, but nice pic!

We'd already done this ride,
so it didn't have quite the
excitement factor that the
first go-around did.

422811791_zpsz9zuqs6f.jpg

Contrast our expressions
with the two young ladies
in front of us.
Oh how I hope they got
their PP photo!

:rotfl:

That's the best!

When I first joined the DIS,
(over ten years ago!!!)
I mostly was looking at the
restaurant reviews.
Consistently, Mama Melrose
was rated as the worst
restaurant in all of Disney.
But I'd lately noticed that more
and more positive reports
were popping up

Clearly you weren't reading my reviews because we've been going to, and loving MM since 2010…okay, maybe I didn't actually write TRs back then :P

We were relaxing outside
as we waited, and we were
fairly close to one section
of Stormalong Bay.
A life-guard was pacing
back and forth, back and forth.
She would quickly take about
five steps, spin 180 degrees
and retrace her steps.
She never stopped.

1 2 3 4 5 <SPIN!>
5 4 3 2 1 <SPIN!>
Repeat ad infinitum.

Of course I immediately
figured out that she was
keeping an eye on two
sections of the pool, but...
She never stopped!
After a few minutes,
a second life-guard came
along and took over
from the first one.
Would she do the same?

Yep!

1 2 3 4 5 <SPIN!>
5 4 3 2 1 <SPIN!>

I had to know.
I asked Elle to excuse me
and went over to talk
to the life-guard.
Now, I know they are
performing an important
function and I didn't
want to distract or
disturb her on her rounds.
I matched her pace for pace
(1 2 3 4 5 <SPIN!>)
and told her not to stop
and she didn't have to
look at me, but could
(5 4 3 2 1 <SPIN!>)
I ask her a question?
She told me I could.
"How long do you do this?"
I asked.
(1 2 3 4 5 <SPIN!>)
Apparently they rotate
around the pool, watching
different spots in a shift.
Each shift is, on average,
(5 4 3 2 1 <SPIN!>)
seven hours long.
They spend 30-45 minutes
on each station.
So... for 30-45 minutes,
you're doing...
1 2 3 4 5 <SPIN!>

I don't know what they're
paying these kids...
But it isn't enough.

Totally agree. I've always noticed how attentive those lifeguards are. No easy feat, especially at SAB.

We split an order of
grilled cheese and
tomato soup.

IMG_1978_zpsnxpmdob2.jpg

Mmmmmm...

Why split?
It's not that big...

Because, this:

IMG_1979_zpsflzeaqta.jpg

Hello my beauties.

Yum. I need to make it back to Beaches and Cream one of these days :lovestruc

We'd already done this ride,
so it didn't have quite the
excitement factor that the
first go-around did.
Oh buy my goodness it sure did for those two gals in front of you..

Contrast our expressions
with the two young ladies
in front of us.
Oh okay so you noticed.

She loves TOT.
I was just along for the ride.
You and the guy in the blue hat in the back row.

I have a theory that everyone who looks emotionless on a thrill ride photo is actually dying inside but they don't want anyone to know so they put on a cool face.

The more words you use,
the more you can charge.
Classic Disney marketing

We meet again and are
married.
Who's going to tell Ariel?

I'm doing some last-minute packing in order to leave tomorrow, so I didn't multi-quote as I would have liked
I saw that and posted on your TR. :)
But holy crow, some long lines at DHS!
Insane!
I guess May the Fourth had a serious impact?!
Oh yes. People come to DHS
just for that. They wait all
year for it.
And I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed the Frozen show! I really enjoy it as well, because as you say, it's hilarious.
I really did!
I'm hoping to go again
in a few weeks.
Your review of Mama Melrose makes me excited for our trip since, as I mentioned over on Liesa's TR, we're going for the first time soon!
I saw that too.
I hope your experience
was as good as mine!
Also, my goodness, what an intense job the lifeguards have! I had heard that it's a very difficult job (in general, but especially at Disney) and requires an insane level of hyper-focus, but your story really illustrates that.
I was shocked at how
focused and dedicated
they were!

I love that picture :lovestruc I didn't realize you did a split stay, can't wait to see where you moved to!
I liked that poster.
Kinda wanted to steal it!

You'll find out where we're headed...

In the very next update. :)
That's twice…in the same trip. One more slip-up like that and they'll revoke your DISBoards membership.
:sad2:
Except I knew ahead of time
that May 4th would be crazy.
We did it anyway since it was
the only time we could get
a FP for SDD.
You'll notice that the crowds
didn't really impact us
since we did rope drop
(or close enough to it),
used FPs and ignored

all the Star Wars stuff.
Crazy waits, but nice pic!
Thanks! :)
That's the best!
We were very tired. ;)
Clearly you weren't reading my reviews because we've been going to, and loving MM since 2010…okay, maybe I didn't actually write TRs back then :P
I guess not.
I actually did a survey
of worst restaurants...

It won. (lost?)
Totally agree. I've always noticed how attentive those lifeguards are. No easy feat, especially at SAB.
Lot of ground (water) to cover.
Yum. I need to make it back to Beaches and Cream one of these days :lovestruc
Do!
It was one meal I could do
again and again. :)

Oh buy my goodness it sure did for those two gals in front of you..
::yes::

Oh okay so you noticed.
I did. :)
You and the guy in the blue hat in the back row.
We were just waiting
for a bus.

I have a theory that everyone who looks emotionless on a thrill ride photo is actually dying inside but they don't want anyone to know so they put on a cool face.
:lmao:
Busted!

Actually, I'm having far too
much fun on that ride

to be dying on the inside. :)
Classic Disney marketing
Can you say that using
fewer words?

Who's going to tell Ariel?
Shhhhhh...

You'll notice that the crowds
didn't really impact us
since we did rope drop
(or close enough to it),
used FPs and ignored

all the Star Wars stuff

It did seem like you got a lot done! What are you going to do about GE? You're not at all interested?

I guess not.
I actually did a survey
of worst restaurants...

It won. (lost?)

Really? It beat out Tony's for the worst? I have always liked Tony's but most people seem to hate it.

Do!
It was one meal I could do
again and again. :)

It's on the list for next July ::yes::

May the fourth, to be precise.

It's just gotta be dead there, right?

<cricket><cricket><cricket>

:rotfl:

Oh, how sweetly naïve!

Always beat your children.
Builds character.

:rotfl2:

I always say I got so good at board games as a kid as my parents NEVER let me win - I had to get good all on my own. As a result I did get really good at many board games... but I've never enjoyed Scabble as a result of my childhood experience. (A ten-year-old versus a 40-year-old brilliant attorney is NOT a fair game!)

Would it surprise you to
know that at 10am the
wait time for TOT was
110 minutes and RNRC was
already up to 115 minutes?

HOLY COW that's a long wait... but I'm not super surprised since it was May the 4th.

Contrast our expressions
with the two young ladies
in front of us.
Oh how I hope they got
their PP photo!

That's always how I look on RNRC! I don't know how people have creative pictures on that ride - I'm always screaming my head off!

We found some seats and
I went and grabbed us some
frozen lemonades over at
Anaheim Produce.

Those look delicious (and it sounds like they WERE delicious!). I love a good frozen lemonade!

(Standing room only! For Indy!)

Good gracious! It was REALLY busy in DHS that day!

But I'd lately noticed that more
and more positive reports
were popping up, including
glowing praise from @chunkymonkey .

I ate there back in 2005 and don't really remember it (I'm sure it was fine?), but haven't stopped since. I've read several great recent reports myself and am considering adding it to our list for next year!

Braised short ribs with
a mushroom risotto.

This looks DELICIOUS! I'm glad you had such a great experience at Mama Melrose!

This actually turned out to be
a good attraction to have a FP for.
While the show itself is pretty
forgettable, having a FP allowed
us to enter into the waiting area
ahead of the standby line.

Absolutely true! Getting into the air conditioning early is GLORIOUS! (I also think you may get better seats? That allows you to be closer to your lovely lady!)

And while we waited in comfort,
I snagged two more FPs for
the Frozen Sing Along.

A great choice!

We paused on our way to
Frozen to buy a bag of
crack... er… popcorn.
(Same thing, amirite?)

YES. I've said for years that Disney has crack-covered popcorn! (Not that I've had actual crack, but nonetheless... )

The Frozen Sing Along was...
Hilarious! We both enjoyed
it a lot!

I'm so glad you liked it! I was surprised how much I enjoyed it!

After that, we headed out
of the park.
But not before spending
an extra $500 or so.
(It was then that I
purchased my AP.)

That's an expensive stop! (How exciting about your annual pass, though!)

I don't know what they're
paying these kids...
But it isn't enough.

Wow! That would get awfully tiring (but I suppose you'd get all your steps in?). I'm surprised with just five steps that they couldn't just stand in the middle and turn their head back and forth? :confused3

She settled on some
Beach Boys.

Great choice! :thumbsup2

Why split?
It's not that big...

Because, this:

A great choice for Beaches and Cream! The food is okay but the ice cream is GREAT!

(I also appreciated knowing about the smaller sized ice cream - it's still pretty darn big but we felt better about wasting less!)

Well, based on Disney's
track record lately with
"upgrades"...
I expect it will become

more like... Epcot.

Sigh... :sad2:
Ah! So you've had it.
Soooo good!
I love the ride.
I also love having fun
on it, too. ;)

Just making sure!

Well, I can't say that
the risotto would be there
every day.

It was the special that day.

I need to find a Dinsey place where it's always on the menu....

We checked out of the hotel
and then checked our bags
at 8:25am.
We then boarded a bus
at... 8:25am.
That's some fast walking from bell services to the bus stop.
You better suck up, Disney!
Let me correct that...
You
better
suck up, Disney!
I mean, it's not high season
or (worse) Christmas season.
It's May! Nice, sedate, May.
May the fourth, to be precise.
:sad2: You must be living in some galaxy far away...
I got "Best in Car" with my score,
but it didn't really matter.
What did matter was that
I beat Elle.
Best in car does matter. It's always good to beat everybody you ride with. If you get best in car, then you most certainly beat Elle! But if you can't get best in car... well, then beating Elle is the important part. So I guess I understand your point, although I refuse to settle for less!
We'd already done this ride,
so it didn't have quite the
excitement factor that the
first go-around did.
But it does have it's own rock soundtrack so you didn't need to dig out the ear buds!
I noted that the next BatB
show was starting in
half an hour and Elle
said she'd like to see it.

I can make this happen!

We found some seats and
I went and grabbed us some
frozen lemonades over at
Anaheim Produce.
Looks like a win. Get off your feet and enjoy a cool snack.
The only thing marring the dish
was that tiny piece of green
on the plate at about ten o'clock.
How dare they!?!?!?!
Nice review of Mama Melrose. I haven't been in probably 4 years or so, but we'd gone twice in a short period around then. Both times, I thought the food was very good. But the service was rather terrible, quite frankly. You speak praises of the food, but was the service good for you guys?
We got to SDD only to see there
was a 120 minute wait.
But with our FPs we pretty much
just walked on.
Those poor suckers.
It's a fun little coaster.
Not really thrilling...
but fun to ride all the same.
::yes::
FPs all used up for the day,
it was time to see what was
still available.
Probably not SDD...
Or even AS2...
But you never know...
Maybe RNRC?...
Or TOT?...

We got...
Voyage of the Little Mermaid.
We all know that you really didn't want to get RnRC or TOT. In fact, you probably could have chose one of those, but decided to stalk visit Ariel.
I snagged two more FPs for
the Frozen Sing Along.
I'd never been, and had
heard good things.
Well, I guess if you've never seen it, it certainly is worth seeing a time or 2. I've seen it enough now that I consider it a nice cool, dark place to sit down and let my eyes rest. :rolleyes1
Mmmmmm...

Why split?
It's not that big...

Because, this:
::yes:: Gotta save room for the ice cream!!!
I think we'll leave off
with us being utter
and complete gluttons.

And loving it!
No... gluttons don't get "half orders."

Oh, how sweetly naïve!
I knew it was going to be crazy,
but that's the only chance we
had to ride SDD on a FP.

(And I wasn't waiting 2 hours!)
I always say I got so good at board games as a kid as my parents NEVER let me win - I had to get good all on my own.
See?
Builds character!

As a result I did get really good at many board games... but I've never enjoyed Scabble as a result of my childhood experience. (A ten-year-old versus a 40-year-old brilliant attorney is NOT a fair game!)
Yeah, that I can see!
HOLY COW that's a long wait... but I'm not super surprised since it was May the 4th.
Nope.
I knew it would be bad.
I can't imagine doing it
now, since there aren't

any FPs at DHS anymore.
That's always how I look on RNRC! I don't know how people have creative pictures on that ride - I'm always screaming my head off!
:lmao:
Those look delicious (and it sounds like they WERE delicious!). I love a good frozen lemonade!
They were great!
I will almost certainly get one
next month. :)
Good gracious! It was REALLY busy in DHS that day!
May the fourth!
I ate there back in 2005 and don't really remember it (I'm sure it was fine?), but haven't stopped since. I've read several great recent reports myself and am considering adding it to our list for next year!

Best meal of the trip!
Absolutely true! Getting into the air conditioning early is GLORIOUS! (I also think you may get better seats? That allows you to be closer to your lovely lady!)
We did get good seats.
I told Elle to hang back
for a few seconds so we

could get center of the row.
A great choice!
It was! Pleasant surprise. :)
YES. I've said for years that Disney has crack-covered popcorn! (Not that I've had actual crack, but nonetheless...)
Well, neither have I, but...
Dang that stuff is good!

I'm so glad you liked it! I was surprised how much I enjoyed it!
So was I!
That's an expensive stop! (How exciting about your annual pass, though!)
::yes::
Wow! That would get awfully tiring (but I suppose you'd get all your steps in?). I'm surprised with just five steps that they couldn't just stand in the middle and turn their head back and forth? :confused3
They couldn't just move their heads.
They had to walk to the edge
and peer straight down.
It's why they were pacing.

It was a blind spot.
A great choice for Beaches and Cream! The food is okay but the ice cream is GREAT!
::yes::
(I also appreciated knowing about the smaller sized ice cream - it's still pretty darn big but we felt better about wasting less!)
I might not have ordered, otherwise. :)

We boarded the back of the
boat and pillaged and plundered
and all in all had a fun ride.

that's hilarious! I haven't seen anyone pose much for this photo, so well done!
My eldest ghoul then tried to
drag me onto IASW, but
the wait time was thirty minutes.

We decided to skip it.
My heart leapt with joy.
And then was dashed as she
reasoned that we could
try again later.

Maybe she’ll forget?

I'm guessing no.

As an aside -- this is actually my dad's favorite ride. Not sure why...but he loves it.

We rounded the corner and
popped in to PhilharMagic instead.
Donald messed things up again.
You'd think by now he'd figure
out how to use that hat.

Apparently, they were originally going to have Tinkerbell be the lead in this show, but Eisner or Iger (whoever was the head) wanted to have donald. I think I heard it on a Jim Hill/Len Testa Disneydish podcast.

I want to say they said it was changed b/c they didn't want to have Tinkerbell be the clumsy one since it would be out of character with the newer fairy stuff.

It must be done.
If you ride it, a foot photo
is an absolute requirement.

That's me on the left.

And here I thought Elle might be going au natural.

Took this shot of the Tron
construction site.
I wonder how much closer
it will be to being finished when
I see it again four months later.

I was there in July and it's come a long way -- so by September it should be quite a bit different from what you saw. I have a picture and will try and post it.

Elle ordered the veggie bangers
plate...

that does not look appetizing.

I leaned in for a kiss and...
well... I guess the reality
of the situation was a bit
much for Elle and she
screamed "NO!!!" and pushed
us apart.

She's a terrible wingman.

Must admit I felt badly for her.
I'm thinking she probably has
to put up with some pretty
rude behaviour from ill-mannered
guests on a regular basis.
I think if my goal was complete
immersion and/or photography,
I'd be in the hub.
But if comfort (and desserts!)
is the goal than I'd recommend
the dessert party.

I watched a youtube video of a girl that said she was friends with Minnie and apparently an old grandpa was whispering things to her while the whole family was getting their pictures.

I was happy to have a seat
on the bus.
We'd done quite a bit of walking.
If you're in America -- you should switch to miles. I'm pretty sure that's a law.

And...
Did you see it in this chapter?

Pretty good at hiding in plain site. Kinda looks like he's praying someone will come out of the porto-potty.

I mean, it's not high season
or (worse) Christmas season.
It's May! Nice, sedate, May.
May the fourth, to be precise.

It's just gotta be dead there, right?

427312

Always beat your children.
Builds character.

So should I be calling CPS?

Oh -- you mean beat them at the game -- not literally beat them.

I also agree...and I pull no punches.

Contrast our expressions
with the two young ladies
in front of us.
Oh how I hope they got
their PP photo!

that ride always produces some pretty good faces for the uninitiated.

The show was cute but
definitely a one and done.
Except this was more of
a two and phew for us,
but she didn't remember it
since it had been ten years.

DW is a big fan of this show -- I'd like it more if it had AC. Has anyone ever mentioned to you how hot WDW is?

There was an Indy show
that had just started.
We were told it was standing
room only but we decided
to watch anyways.
(Standing room only! For Indy!)

I haven't seen this show since 1999 I believe.

When I first joined the DIS,
(over ten years ago!!!)
I mostly was looking at the
restaurant reviews.
Consistently, Mama Melrose
was rated as the worst
restaurant in all of Disney.
But I'd lately noticed that more
and more positive reports
were popping up, including
glowing praise from @chunkymonkey .

I always get the steak here (2x). So good.

We started with the
"Fresh Mozzarella and
Vine-ripened Tomatoes".
Not sure why they don't
just say "Caprese salad".
Not wordy enough I guess.
The more words you use,
the more you can charge.

Maybe with the number of tourists -- they found it's easier to have it described in the title? Rather than have a bunch of people asking servers what a caprese salad is??? No idea -- just a thought.

The ribs were fall-off-the-bone
delicious and that risotto!
WOW!
It was fantastic.
I have dreams now of that
risotto.
We meet again and are
married.
And we (my tummy and I)
live happily ever after.

that does look pretty good -- still not sure if I'd pass up the steak though.

And then Elle said it.
"You know how it goes up and
down in that one part?
That's like a slinky going
down stairs."

Never thought about that -- will pay closer attention next time I'm there.

And while we waited in comfort,
I snagged two more FPs for
the Frozen Sing Along.
I'd never been, and had
heard good things.

I'm a big fan of this show. Cracks me up.

Sorry about the crappy photo. Just had my phone.

Ariel is looking pretty rough in this show.

After that, we headed out
of the park.
But not before spending
an extra $500 or so.

You might be spending this amount again in September with SW:GE opening.

We placed our order
and Elle went off to
pick some tunes.

I had no idea that jukebox actually worked.

We split an order of
grilled cheese and
tomato soup.

Next time add bacon and grilled onions to the sandwich.

Hello my beauties.
Oh! And that's what
half orders look like,
if you've never seen
that before.
(Yes, you can order
a half-order!

yum.

did you see it?

Yup -- Marvin joined the stage show.

That's some fast walking from bell services to the bus stop.
Nope! At OKW, bell services
is at the bus stop.
(Well, just on the other side of

the drive-thru check in lane.)
Let me correct that...
You

better

suck up, Disney!
Pretty much...

Hey!
:sad2: You must be living in some galaxy far away...
Nah. Just the fourth planet.
Best in car does matter. It's always good to beat everybody you ride with. If you get best in car, then you most certainly beat Elle! But if you can't get best in car... well, then beating Elle is the important part. So I guess I understand your point, although I refuse to settle for less!
Always strive to beat everyone.
That allows gloating and
finger pointing (with accompanying

"Nyah, nyha!")
But it does have it's own rock soundtrack so you didn't need to dig out the ear buds!
Yep!
Looks like a win. Get off your feet and enjoy a cool snack.
It was okay!
The show was almost
irrelevant.
Nice review of Mama Melrose.
Thanks. :)
I haven't been in probably 4 years or so, but we'd gone twice in a short period around then. Both times, I thought the food was very good. But the service was rather terrible, quite frankly.
Well, that sucks.
It has to be both.
The food has to be at least
edible and the service has

to be at least adequate.
You speak praises of the food, but was the service good for you guys?
Hmmm...
I really don't remember if it
was "good".
But it definitely wasn't bad.
I'd have remembered that.

So the fact that I don't...

means it was fine. :)
Those poor suckers.
I love walking past people in line
with my FP.
I may not even want to ride...
I just want to gloat.
And (in my head)

go "Nyah, nyah!"
We all know that you really didn't want to get RnRC or TOT. In fact, you probably could have chose one of those, but decided to stalk visit Ariel.
Thanks for blowing my
cover, man!

Well, I guess if you've never seen it, it certainly is worth seeing a time or 2. I've seen it enough now that I consider it a nice cool, dark place to sit down and let my eyes rest. :rolleyes1
Yep. First time.
::yes:: Gotta save room for the ice cream!!!
::yes::
No... gluttons don't get "half orders."
Okay... half-gluttons.

that's hilarious! I haven't seen anyone pose much for this photo, so well done!
Figured it was time to change that. ;)
I'm guessing no.

As an aside -- this is actually my dad's favorite ride. Not sure why...but he loves it.
You guess right.

Is your Dad okay? I mean... really?

:rolleyes1
Apparently, they were originally going to have Tinkerbell be the lead in this show, but Eisner or Iger (whoever was the head) wanted to have donald. I think I heard it on a Jim Hill/Len Testa Disneydish podcast.

I want to say they said it was changed b/c they didn't want to have Tinkerbell be the clumsy one since it would be out of character with the newer fairy stuff.
Huh!
I hadn't hear that, and...
I agree.
Donald is the better choice.

At least the way it's done now.
And here I thought Elle might be going au natural.
I was there in July and it's come a long way -- so by September it should be quite a bit different from what you saw. I have a picture and will try and post it.
Saw it.
Quite a bit different!
Interesting to see

where it'll be at next month.

And cute shot of your girls!

that does not look appetizing.
And yet she claimed she liked it.
She's a terrible wingman.
:lmao:
I watched a youtube video of a girl that said she was friends with Minnie and apparently an old grandpa was whispering things to her while the whole family was getting their pictures.
Um...
Sorry, not getting what
you're driving at here?
If you're in America -- you should switch to miles. I'm pretty sure that's a law.
I know, I know.
But that's the screen cap.
I figured everyone would

just look at the steps, anyways.
Pretty good at hiding in plain site. Kinda looks like he's praying someone will come out of the porto-potty.
Oh he was praying all right.
::yes::
So should I be calling CPS?
Sure!
They don't have jurisdiction
up here. :p
Oh -- you mean beat them at the game -- not literally beat them.
Oh. Right. That too.
I also agree...and I pull no punches.

:rotfl:
that ride always produces some pretty good faces for the uninitiated.
::yes::
DW is a big fan of this show -- I'd like it more if it had AC.
And explosions.
Explosions would be good.

Has anyone ever mentioned to you how hot WDW is?
For a second I thought you
were gonna say:
"Has anyone ever mentioned to you how hot Belle is?"

Thought you maybe had a little

crush going on there.
I haven't seen this show since 1999 I believe.
It's completely different!
A whole new cast!

The show is the same,
but the cast has changed

in the last 20 years.
I always get the steak here (2x). So good.
I've heard it's good there!
Maybe with the number of tourists -- they found it's easier to have it described in the title? Rather than have a bunch of people asking servers what a caprese salad is??? No idea -- just a thought.
Sheesh.
What's wrong with this?

Caprese Salad
Vine-ripened tomatoes and fresh Mozzarella,
balsamic drizzle, olive oil and sweet basil leaves.

that does look pretty good -- still not sure if I'd pass up the steak though.
I'll have to try the steak
on another visit.
Won't be going there

this time around.
Never thought about that -- will pay closer attention next time I'm there.
According to @Steppesister,
it was designed that way.

I'm a big fan of this show. Cracks me up.
I liked it!
Ariel is looking pretty rough in this show.
She was missing me
pretty badly again.

Poor fish.
You might be spending this amount again in September with SW:GE opening.
:rolleyes1

I do know that I will
not be making a lightsaber.
For that kind of money,
I expect to be able to
accidentally cut my arm off.

Not just pay an arm and a leg.
I had no idea that jukebox actually worked.
Neither did I!
She just went and
started picking tunes. :)
Next time add bacon and grilled onions to the sandwich.
ooooohhhh...
I like where this is going.

Yup -- Marvin joined the stage show.
;)
