Hi, trying to sort out my planner and just wondering if anyone has any idea of the times of the Christmas :santa: shows in Seaworld. Maybe someone may have a copy of the schedule from last year? We will be there on Sat 15th Dec and park is open until 11pm. I'm trying to decide whether to pay for the Christmas show seating as there will be 6 of us. I just would like to know that we will be able to get to the shows if I do pay for the seating.
Thanks for any help
Allie

Yes that is a christmas show day. Any day during nov and dec that closes at 9pm and later is a holiday show day.

As for the seating not sure. Have never tried it.

What is different about the Christmas shows, please?

And what do you get if you pay for a seat (vs not paying)?

We have previously been at Easter and never paid for seating (wasn't even aware this was an option!)
Thanks

Paying for seating guarentees you a good spot during the shows. The seats will be reserved for you so you can show up 5 minutes before the show and take your seat instead of getting there 45 minutes before the show to get the best seat if you don't pay.

The difference between the Christmas shows and the regular day shows is the Christmas shows are Christmas themed. There is a Christmas Shamu show and a Christmas Sealion show. Both those Christmas shows take place at night after the regular shows are performed during the day. There is also a Christmas themed show at the Nautilus Theater called O' Wondrous Night, which is the Christmas story told from an animals point of view. There is usually a Christmas themed Sesame Street show, a Christmas Ice Skating show and a Christmas fireworks show.

Thank you, that's very helpful :)
I didn't realise that there would be so many special events going on at Christmas!

Hi, if you look on the Seaworld official website they give details of their Christmas shows on there. That is where I saw the option of the reserved seating, $29 per person. I think that covers the Christmas shows for Shamu, Clyde & Seamore sea lion show, the Ice Skating show and the O Wondrous Christmas show. Also gives you a quick pass for the Polar Express ride. As there are 6 of us and we are hoping to do Seaworld in one day I thought this may save us some time queuing for the shows. I know we have been before (not at Christmas) and have got to a show about 15 mins beforehand but they are already full. I would just like to know the timings of the shows as don't fancy running from one area of the park to another :)

Hi
Thanks
Unfortunately, I think the site we see here in the UK is different to the USA one, once the website detects we're in the UK we're immediately redirected to a seaworld.co.uk website which only gives basic information and is primarily a vehicle to sell tickets (in £, rather than $) - it's very frustrating :( (Disney's website does the same thing :rolleyes2)

Hi

Just had the same problem. Yesterday the US Stayed up, now it defaults to UK. Googled SeaWorld Orlando reserved seating and found a link to commerce.4adventure.com re quick queue which brought up the US page for booking Xmas seating so managed to book. If you access the SeaWorld.com site and select a non Orlando park then you can log in and see your order history

Thanks for this, I tried the above link and have just managed to book tickets. I really don't know how I did this, but I found a link re military tickets (my husband is in the British Army) which enabled me to buy up to 6 day tickets for Seaworld for half price. I bought 3 tickets with this reduction and bought the Christmas seating for 6 people as well. I've paid for it all and got the link to print the e tickets so I'm happy :) if it all works ok.
We were planning on getting free tickets at Seaworld for my husband, myself and our daughter but knew it wouldn't cover my grown up son, daughter in law and daughter's boyfriend, so this discount (which says it just covers up to 6 people travelling with the person) is great.

subbed to this thread. Did not know about the priority seating option, that will be a must do for us. We did Seaworld last year Thanksgiving week when they were doing all the christmas shows and we really enjoyed them. Being able to show up last minute will be a great convenience! I imagine the show schedules will come out over the next 30-45 days.

Expect Novembers show schedule to be released the last week in October and Decembers show schedule to be released the last week of November.

Booked our christmas seats for shows as trying to coordinate 6 of us to get to shows to queue up would be a nightmare :) One less thing to worry about.

Is this true? How is an OCD-planner supposed to plan properly? I thought I heard that in early Dec, the Christmas shows are mostly on the weekends? Our trip is Dec 6 -13th, so I was curious if anyone knows what the schedule will be like during that time...

Unfortunately this is true. You are also correct in thinking that in early December, that the Christmas shows will be on the weekends only. This is a fact. The only question right now is what is the exact time of the shows and how many of each show will be performed each night. So for your visit, you will get Christmas shows on December 6th, 7th and 8th.

Thanks, that's what I thought I had read. I guess no chance of us getting to use that $50 ticket offer! Oh well.

Go to the SeaWorld web site, click on the park hours calender, go back in time to December 2012 and you will see all the Christmas show times. I just did it.

The $50 ticket offer includes Fridays, so you could get the $50 ticket offer if you visit December 6th. But the ticket has to be purchased online. It can't be purchased at the park.
