Christmas gift ideas for husband

I have not been to Supercharge- I think that is the name- but it sounds like you are close to Wrentham. I am not sure if it is adult or child orientated. It may be a good kid/husband gift.

I'm sort of in the same boat. My DH is hard to buy for. I ordered him a pair of shoes from LL Bean the other day when they were having a 25% off sale, but other than that, I don't have too many ideas.

There really isn't much I want/need either, so I probably should talk to him about us doing a smaller Christmas for each other this year so we don't spend money just buying things we don't need for their to be something under the tree.

A friend told me to do this last year, it was the biggest hit. Buck Naked underwear from Duluth Trading Company. It is expensive but worth it. They also have longtail tshirts which are wonderful for guys over 6 foot. The sales are pretty good, especially if you sign up for their email. But be warned, they send almost one a day during the holidays.

My DH is super hard to buy for and everyone expects me to give them ideas too. Some past winners have been flannel lined khakis for work, a flipside wallet (it's a hard case), a yeti mug since he stole mine, hats for local sports teams, a car wash package and the giant reese cup.

Hubs and I no longer do gifts for each other but I have to direct my family into what to buy him. His family gave up on me and sends cash which is just fine by me. 😍
That said if I'm not at work I'm always beside him so I know what comics he reads, what video game he's on, and what album of what music group he's currently listening to, at all times. So my suggestions are gonna ummm, sound a little weird and involve some digging.
Find out what character/comic he loved as a kid and get him some nostalgic stuff.
Check his snack stash to see what his fave snack is. For my hubs he loves the chocolate palettes they sell at Trader Joes for the holidays.
If he goes to the movies try one of those movie ticket memberships and make it a double so you can go with him, or he can take a friend.
Get him a gift certificate to the place he likes to eat at that you might not be crazy about and agree to go with him.
Does he read? If so dig in the book pile and see what he might like.
Does he like putting together projects? Maybe models or Legos.
Or you can go cheesy like I did and one year had a puzzle made of a photo of us. Hubs is a puzzle person so he loved it but I admit it was corny XD

That is wonderful for all that still exchange gifts. We did too of course for many, many years. We will be married 37 years in a few days - we don't "exchange" Christmas/Birthday or Valentine gifts anymore.......plenty of romance here though :) - we have everything we need and will buy whatever we need or may want through out the year. I use to tell hubby, anyone can go out and buy a card/gift......the love and care needs to be shown all year :).

We enjoy trips and going out to eat - not too much so when we do, it is out of the "norm".

Like many have suggested - A Concert? Dinner out? Movie night? Any hobbies? Golf? Hunting? Car buff/Motorcycle? Enjoys his wine? Order some or purchase some special bottles. Is there anything he always wanted to do Skydive, etc.? It is hard to think of something out of norm? If there are shoes/clothes, he must absolutely have/wear - purchase something like that. Specific candy? I like the stocking stuffer idea.

It is still fun to come up with something. Happy shopping!!!!

I just listed and watch what my DH is doing and talking about all year.
His friends talk about shows they watch on TV so one year he got an upgrade from basic satellite to the big package.
He now enjoys the high-end car auctions on TV. Since one of the auction houses was going to be in Orlando and we were going to be in WDW for a DCL cruise, I got him 2 VIP tickets (for him and his son) to the car auction.
Last year it was a computer of his own and stay away from mine.
This year I caught him rummaging through closets looking for his old turntable to listen to his records (Viet Nam era turntable!). So he's getting a modern one with blue tooth speakers and headset.

How about an upgrade on things he already has and enjoys? For example: really high thread count sheets, great quality underwear, a coat that he loves but would never buy for himself, quality headphones/earbuds, an amazing bathrobe, updated tablet/electronic device?

I’m a hiker, backpacker, and car camping person. So almost anything related is a good gift for me.

What does your husband like to do?
Hey RamblingMad,
Mostly, tell me I'm beautiful. He's wicked smart. Outdoor gear is ready to go under the tree.

My husband's favorite gift is underwear too! I bought him some Ex Officio boxer briefs a while back and it's all he asks for every year.

I would get him an experience. Something for him and a friend or the two of you. My dh and I dont exchange gifts, we do things instead and Ive noticed my dd and her bf are doing the same. Collect experiences, not things.

However, if you want to give hime something to open, you can wrap up what the experience is and give hims something small, electronic and useful. The Tile mentioned above is a good idea and I think I going to add that to my ds and dd list.

Back to WeatherTech products, my husband also loves have the truck liner for his vehicle. (He also loves the floor mats)

If he is a reader, maybe a Kindle or Nook? And a gift card to load it up?

So does my dh.

DH wants a tent that fits over the bed of his truck and fitted air mattress for camping. Couple other ideas - jersey of his favorite team/player, fishing license.
Okay, I'm really off-topic, but this is an interesting fact-oid: In my state you can buy a baby a LIFETIME fishing and hunting license for about $99. The purchase must be made before the child turns one. A friend of mine has given this to all her grandchildren as a first birthday gift. Literally a gift that lasts a lifetime.
DH and I only do stockings for each other now, and we use the money we would have spent on trips,
We're on the verge of retirement, and we're talking about changing our Christmas gift habits -- not for the kids, but just for us: Stockings only to open on Christmas morning, and we'll each plan an inexpensive trip for one another. Could be right away /could be later in the year.

This year DH is getting tickets to a musical he likes, and I'm also going to make reservations at a fancy restaurant we've been meaning to try. I feel kinda bad, because it's sort of a gift for me, too (I mean, who doesn't like dinner and a musical?). But it was that or a bidet (no, not kidding, he wants one).

What about lottery tickets and or scratcher tickets? If he likes to gamble, how about a trip to Las Vegas, or a casino near by your home?

We usually just do stockings for each other and a long weekend together somewhere in December or January. This year in his stocking, I’m giving him socks with our dogs faces on them (from pupsocks.com), bar soap I got from Hallmark (and I’m sure is sold elsewhere) that has $5-50 inside, and a man toiletry bag from Sephora that was $50 and comes with a dozen cologne samples and he picks whichever one he likes the best and takes the coupon in for a full size, and then scratch lottery tickets and mini liquor bottles.
