Do Club Level guests who are arriving on the Disney Magical Express bus get greeted by a cast member from the club level as they disembark the bus and taken to their building/room/club lounge?

Years ago we were, but the last few years, not so much. I usually have to find a cm to take us to CL to check in.

Which resort? Some are better than others. I would keep expectations very low.
Ill be at the Poly. Was hoping they would greet us as I have never been to that resort before..and for close to $900 a night....you think they would...

YMMV of course, but especially with Poly...I'll repeat my advice to keep expectations low. They were never that good with the greeting thing even when CL greeters were more of a thing.

We've stayed Club level 4 times, and these have been our experiences with being met vs. not:

BWI CL, we drove ourselves--met out front when we pulled into the porte cocher (I think I'm spelling that wrong! You know what I'm talking about, right?;) ) by a CM who escorted us upstairs, checked us in, and showed us around. This was at approx. 4 pm

YC CL, took ME--was not met up front. I asked a CM where I should go for CL check in and they sent someone down who brought me upstairs and checked me in. This was at approx. 10 am.

BWI CL (2nd time), we took ME--was not met up front. Asked a CM in the lobby where we should go for CL check and they said the regular check in desk. This was at approx. 10 am. Honestly, I was pretty disappointed in this.

WL CL, we drove ourselves. We parked in the normal parking lot and as we walked up to the hotel, we saw a CM standing up front holding a sign (tablet?) with our name on it. He brought us up to CL and checked us in, showed us around, etc. This was at approx. 4 pm.

Even if you don’t get greeted curbside, there’s a concierge check in desk right by the door in the GCH. Go there and you’ll be greeted, given leis and walked over to Hawaii for check in.

You had better be prepared to put that kind of thinking out of your mind. You stand to be sorely disappointed if you expect specific things based on how much money you spent at a Disney hotel.
yeah..i know what you mean :(

Funny story (but not really funny), last time I stayed at WDW was in a MK view room at the Grand Floridian in August 2016. I booked a Lagoon view room using the military discount for around $350/night, including taxes and everything. When we arrived, the room they assigned us did not have a day bed, which we needed. They upgraded us to an MK view room with a daybed (free upgrade). Later in the trip, we were at the resort sundries shop looking for moleskin. A lady who I recognized from our building (Boca Chica) was in there absolutely ripping apart the poor CM because she had had a mug sent to the hotel from the parks and it arrived broken. She literally wanted the CM to drop what she was doing, physically go to the MK and get her a new mug RIGHT THEN, because "I have other things to do and we are leaving this afternoon so I need a new mug in my hands before I have to depart." When the CM explained that she could not do this, the lady's reply was, and I quote, "Then why the *bleep* did I pay $1000 a night to stay here? You think I paid $1000 per night to be told you can't help me?"

For what it's worth, the solution the CM was trying to provide was "we will ship a new one to your home free of charge." This was not good enough for $1000/night lady.

I'm standing by in shock, but I also was laughing on the inside because I paid $350/night for the same thing she paid $1000/night for. All I expected was to be pointed towards the overpriced moleskin. Maybe I should have asked the CM to cut it up and physically apply it to my child's foot.

Remember that not everyone paid $900/night, and your next door neighbor may have paid half that or less. What you spend doesn't match what you get, unfortunately.

We've done CL at Poly twice. The 1st time, there was someone there greeting us, and they walked us to the Hawaii building. The 2nd time, no one was there, and I saw a huge line at the check-in desk, so we just walked to Hawaii. I think I might've followed someone thru the sliding doors (not sure if MBs worked yet), but I walked up to the desk, and said we were checking in, and all was fine.
