Hello! We returned about a week ago from an 8 night stay with 2 adults and 2 Disney Juniors. We are DDP/DxDP veterans, having used DDP on 2 previous trips and DxDP on 6 previous trips.

This year, we purchased APs for the first time. We considered a ticketless package with Dining. In the end we opted to purchase a TiW card. So, how did we do?

First, here are the places where we ate.

TS lunches/dinners:
Raglan Road
Skipper's Canteen
Spice Road
Hoop Dee Doo Cat 1
Sci-Fi
California Grill
50's PT
Nine Dragons
The Wave

Our kids, one is a pescatarian and one loves steaks. My DH and I love seafood, fish and lamb the most, although I will also occasionally have a steak.

We also had one lunch at the Ale and Compass lounge, which has a similar menu to the Ale and Compass restaurant. All lunches and dinners included 1-2 alcoholic beverages per adult.

QS Lunches:
BOG
Satuli Canteen X2 (including a Family Feast, which was amazing)

Breakfasts:
POR Food Court
The Marketplace at BC
The Market at YC

Snacks:
Sleepy Hollow X2
Flower and Garden booths
Joffrey's and other similar booths

After our TiW discount and INCLUDING TIW TIP, we spent:
TS - $1596
QS - $446
Snacks - $170
TiW Card - $150
Total Spent: $2,362

(Note that we also spent around $150 for Cava del Tequila, River Roost and assorted alcohol in Epcot that would not have been covered by DDP or DxDP, This is not included in the totals above).

If we would have used the DDP or DxDP, we would have used:
48 TS credits (approximately 1.5 credits per person per day)
32 QS credits (most of them used for breakfasts; approximately 1 per person per day)
34 snack credits (approximately 1 per person per day)

Costs would have been:
$2416 +tips for DDP (would have covered most snacks and QS, and 1st alcoholic beverage, but would be short 4 TS meals pp and 1-2 daily appetizers)
$3720 +tips for DxDP (would have covered all TS, QS, and most snacks and our first alcoholic beverages at the TS)

So, cost-wise we wound up saving significantly and we now have the TiW card for the next trips within the year. Highly recommend TiW!
