That sounds so fun!! All of those resorts are so nice, I hope you have an amazing time!
I'm lol-ing about you believing I have a sweet tooth! It's so bad, I would eat sugar 24/7 if I could, haha!

Also, most rides allow you to take your service dog on as long as it doesn't go upside down or go to fast. If there is a ride that is too crazy for him, they have crates or even a closed off area where a CM will watch the dog while the owner goes on a ride. Or you can do rider swap as well!
    Thank you, I agree! :)

    Feeling The Castle Magic

We finally got everyone linked up on Rachel's DAS and then it was the moment we had all been waiting for: Marilyn's first time viewing the castle!! I would like to say, it was a big struggle keeping her from seeing it as we walked from Tony's to City Hall but Rachel and I were adamant that she needed a proper first viewing, not one obscured by a Christmas tree so we shielded her eyes :rotfl:.

But yes, after leaving City Hall/ Guest Services, we shielded her eyes once more until she was standing in the middle of Main Street between The Emporium and The Confectionary. There's nothing quite like seeing someone see the castle for the first time, it was honestly SO magical :wizard:. Marilyn was so happy and overwhelmed- you can see her full reaction on my vlog if you haven't already!

We headed down Main Street to let Merl get a closer look at the castle!
Our very first order of business was to all get pixie dusted! We walked through the castle and into Castle Couture. As you can imagine, the CM was very excited to see Flynn and even gave him a bit of dust as well!

Here we are post-pixie dust feeling extra magical!
We really didn't have very many solid plans for our night in MK. Since we only had 1/2 a day in each park, we didn't want to set unrealistic expectations on what we would get done so we decided to play it by ear and see the wait times the day of. Surprisingly for the beginning of November, the wait times for almost everything were pretty high. We ultimately decided to start in Tomorrowland and work our way through to the other side of the park.

Tomorrowland was INSANE. Even the People Mover had a ridiculously long line :scared1:. We decided to go ahead and get a DAS for Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin and while we waited for our window to open up, we would go to Monster's Laugh Floor.

I was sooo excited to show Marilyn this attraction because I think it is always SO funny! We only had to wait about 5 minutes before we were allowed into the theater and sat down. It was another memorably funny show although, now all of the cute moments are escaping my memory. I just really love that each show is unique because the performers go off what a random audience member says to them. They never cease to make me laugh though!

After we finished we walked over to BLSRS (is that even an abbreviation? lol). I want to like this ride, I really do but I am SO BAD AT IT. Like seriously, I don't think I got like 2,000 points on that thing . But it was still fun! I got on with Momma Hart, Rachel, Marilyn, and Flynn were supposed to get in a car together but there was a miscommunication and Rachel walked up to an empty car far ahead of the one the CM had pointed to. Oh well, at least there was more room for Flynn that way :rotfl:.

I think this is a pretty accurate depiction of what I think about this ride, lol!

After we hopped off Buzz, we checked at the wait times for Space Mountain and People Moved and decided that we would come back and try to get on those rides during EMH.

After checking the MDE app, we thought that the next best thing to do was Enchanted Tales With Belle. I was sooo excited because this was something I have been dying to do forever but had never been able to do!

The wait was about 30 minutes, but the time actually flew by so quick because we were talking to the mother and daughter in front of us. Of course Flynn was a great conversation starter, but as the conversation continued we realized that we were from the same town as the daughter. In fact, she was the wife of our local newsman. It IS a small world after all .

We eventually got separated by shows but it was so nice to talk to them and find someone from your same town! I really loved the inside of Belle's cottage- all of the detail was so cute!
Sadly, none of us were selected to have parts in the show but we still enjoyed it nonetheless. The CUTEST kids were in out show so even though we didn't know them, it was still fun to watch!
After the show, we all got to go up and get a picture with Belle! Flynn was looking a little bashful, maybe he thought Belle was pretty ;)

This was so cute! First castle viewings are special :)

Definitely the four cutest Disney fans at the MK!

I agree! Such a fun show and it's always a little different every time!

I also just got around to watching your videos tonight :) I have the same Brita bottle and I love it for the parks! And I always have zip locks and and snacks/bars, too.

If You Go To MK & Don't Get a Dole Whip, Did You Really Go To MK?

When we stepped out of Enchanted Tales, it felt like we had walked through a time warp. When we walked in the building, it was bright out and when we came back, it was very dark. It's crazy how quickly time seems to fly by in the parks when you have so little time in them!

Our next task was to ride BTMRR (and Splash Mountain if I had anything to do with it) but on our way back to Adventureland, we saw that they were taking pictures at the Tangled bathrooms with the illuminated lanterns and Rachel and I b-lined for it because we had been dying to do this! I think the pictures turned out SUPER cute!
Then we continued over to BTMM, we thought about doing Haunted Mansion but the line was out of the gates and was winding back into the Streets of America. So Rachel booked a DAS for it so we could come back and do that later.

Then we FINALLY made it to BTMRR! Rachel knew that there was a pet-relief area near the ride so we looked and looked for it but didn't see one. So we asked a CM and they pointed us back in the direction that we were originally in. Turns out, there is a pet relief area in the smoking area but it really is just a little patch of mulch but he made do.

Since Flynn obviously couldn't come on this ride, Rachel's mom stayed with Flynn and we got a rider swap pass so she could switch. Then we got in the stand-by line which was surprisingly very short! This ride is so frumpy and classic Disney I just love it SO MUCH ugh. I was so excited to see what Marilyn thought! It was also more exciting than I remember it to be- I swear the ride is WAY better at night time. But we were just laughing and screaming and having the best time.

After we finished the ride, we hopped off and switched with Rachel's Mom. Rachel decided to stay with Flynn this time (and seek out some popcorn) while we rode again with Rachel's Mom. Again, the ride was so FUN!

We met back up with Rachel and Flynn, now with an adorable popcorn bucket. We used the nearby Splash Mountain bathrooms (which are always nice and empty btw) and discovered that the ride was shut down for the night. Although this didn't upset Rachel or Marilyn, I was so sad! One of these days I'll ride it again, I haven't had a chance to ride it since May 2014 (so sad, I know).

We continued back over through Adventureland and thought about getting on Pirate of the Caribbean. We even got in line but realized that if we waited nearly an hour we wouldn't have enough time to get back to Main Street and find a good spot for fireworks. SO we hopped back out of line and went over to Aloha Isle because if you come to the Magic Kingdom and don't get a Dole Whip, did you really got to Magic Kingdom?
Marilyn also tried her very first Dole Whip and LOVED it! Also, I don't know if this happens with anyone else but I can never finish a Dole Whip. It always feels like a sin to throw away a half eaten Dole Whip but I always get SO FULL and can't finish it:crazy2:

It was a little over an hour before fireworks and we decided it was time to find a spot for fireworks. We probably should have gotten there a little before because the hub was absolutely PACKED. Rachel ended up tracking down a CM asking her if there was a handicapped area where she could sit with Flynn so he didn't get stepped on. She told us that they didn't have a special area for that but she did find us an open space (which was very nice of her) and we all set up camp. It was up against an area gated off under a tree which was basically across from the entrance to Tomorrowland.

Even though we had just eaten Dole Whips, we were in the mood for some real food. So while Momma Hart and Rachel saved us a spot Marilyn and I set out over to Casey's Corner for some food.

No kidding!! On our last trip my mom kept commenting about how every time she looked at her watch she was shocked at how much time had gone by.

Yes!! I really want to do this and keep missing it. Your pictures came out great!!

BTMRR is absolutely better at night! 100%!

I think it's weird that they don't have a place designated for this show! I know I've seen places roped off for other shows and parades. And we were actually kicked out of our spot for a Halloween Party show because they decided to turn it into a disability location. But nice of her to help you find an empty spot!

Joining in! Y'all seem like such a fun group and Flynn is so so cute (and quality choice in naming him, though I think Eugene might've been better ;)). I love your Cindy and Aurora bounds. So glad I'm also not the only one who freaks out over Prince Phillip in FoF  I can't wait to read more about this trip! :mickeyjum

No, I totally get it. I love Dole Whips, but can never finish one either! And my sister is allergic to pineapple, so she's no help!

Haha, maybe we'll nickname him Eugene! It just doesn't roll of the tongue when trying to give commands :rotfl:
Glad you liked our Disneybounds, I'm kind of obsessed with time too ;)
I'm SO glad someone feels me on the dole whip, they need to make them in kid's sizes!

I hope you see the floating lantern on your next trip, I seriously love how ours turn out! I'm glad you agree with me about BTMRR, I feel like I can only ride it at night now, lol! Hmm I wonder why they don't have disability areas for fireworks too, so odd!

    I'm Not Crying, You're Crying

Let me tell you, it was like swimming up stream trying to get from our spot back over to Casey's! There were people and strollers EVERYWHERE. We finally got over to the restaurant though, only to find the line outside the door and zig-zagged outside the restaurant.... GREAAAT. :(

I would guess that we stood in line for a good 30 minutes to 45 minutes before we finally made it up to order (by this point I was over it) but we placed our order and asked for it to go (which is a good tip if you don't want to try the push through a crowd with a big tray full of food. Then we attempted to get back to our spot- which was another struggle within itself. Pushing back through the crowd moving down Main Street was about the most unpleasant experience I've ever had in MK. Thankfully, we did make it back to Rachel, Flynn, and her Mom without *too* many dirty looks from guests . While we fought the people so valiantly to bring the others food, it looks like Rachel and Flynn were enjoying some down time, lol!
At least we had a lovely view while we ate!
I didn't get a chance to catch any food pictures- I was a little hangry and tired if I'm honest but all of us got the corndog nuggets (which are my loves btw) and french fries! It was probably another 30 minutes before Once Upon a Time started. We ended up having a pretty good view apart from the tree branch (as you can see in the picture above) but you really can't complain.

Marilyn loved the show, of course! Although, I do have to admit I miss Celebrate the Magic :( Then IT WAS TIMEE for Happily Ever After! None of us had seen it apart from Rachel's Mom. It was SO FREAKIN GOOD. I almost cried a million times oh my gosh, I literally can't decibel what it was like but you've just gotta see it for yourself
After we collected ourselves and our tears, we decided to get some castle pictures while we waited for the park to empty out (it was just so full!).
If any of you were following along for my last trip report you'll remember how we took this picture on a night in MK
    [IMG]
Well, now 11 months later, we were able to take this picture! ...I'm not crying, you're crying
    [IMG]
There is literally nothing more beautiful than the castle all lit up at night UGH
    [IMG]
Even though this picture is blurry I still kinda love it because I just feel like it perfectly captures what visiting Disney is really like: your pictures might not turn out as you hoped or your hair is all over the place after a long day but you're still happier than ever
    [IMG]
Once the Hub had finally cleared out, EMH were just about to start and so we headed back to Haunted Mansion to finally use our DAS [IMG]

I'm with you on this one! Once Upon a Time is good, but I don't think it's as good as Celebrate the Magic.

Sir, This Is A No Judgement Zone!

We made it to Haunted Mansion and almost walked right into the stretching room! I was a little unsure how Marilyn would feel about this ride since it is pretty creepy but she was a trooper and we hopped in a Doom Buggy together. Honestly, getting on that ride at night time had me freaked out. :rotfl:

Alas, we survived! I'm pretty sure er got stuck on it too, I feel like I always get stuck on that ride though, haha. Anyway, after we finally got off, we made out way to the front of the park and sent Flynn with Momma Hart. They decided to head back to the room while we stayed for the last extra magic hour.

We did pop ourselves on the curb on Main Street while we waited for some to use the restroom and I just had one of those special soak-it-up moments looking at the Christmas tree and listening to music :goodvibes
    [IMG]
After we officially parted with Momma Hart and Flynn, our first order of business was to see some princesses! The line was relatively short so we were seeing them in no time :cheer2:

Marilyn's favorite princess is Cinderella so of course she had to see her while she was DisneyBounding as her!
She loved our outfits and I think we had a discussion about prince charming or glass slippers :confused3

Then we met Elena! I still haven't watched her TV show but I love meeting Elena in the park because she is always so sweet!
I'm probably admiring her dress because it's so massive and pretty
After we said goodbye to the Princesses, we came out and admired the Carousel and thought we probably should try to see if we could pull the sword from the stone. Sadly, we had no such luck :sad1:

Then we headed on over to It's A Small World because you can't bring a person to Disney for the first time and NOT take them on IASW !!! I've secretly come to love this ride so I was happy to see that Marilyn enjoyed it too! I still do think it is creepy that at the end of the ride, they know you are there and it says your name on the screen. Idk, it's just weird to know you're being tracked by Disney!

Anyway, after we got off the ride and headed back to the Tangled bathrooms to *actually* use them, haha!
I love all the details
Always have to take pictures of the floating lanterns, obviously
    [IMG]
By this point, EMH were officially over and good 'ol Mickey was coming over the intercom telling us it was time to bounce. It was so sad to realize that we wouldn't be coming back to MK on that trip.
I'll never get sick of the lights!
    More Christmas details!
Just as we were walking down Main Street, the Kiss Goodnight was happening, SO MAGICAL
    [IMG]
I really wanted a picture of me sitting on an empty Main Street but there were still so many people there so it didn't turn out great. :sad1:

In fact, some guy even had the gall to STARE AT ME. This is a no judgement zone, sir!
    That's better!
    [IMG] I
Oh, then I just started singing along to the Disney music because, typical me haha!
We made it a little further down Main Street before we saw another photo opportunity!
Then we officially exited the park!

Phew! That was a LONG day, but we did it and we had sooo much fun and Marilyn had a great first day! We were very happy to get into our beds and go to sleep for another busy day!

I always seem to get stuck here too! I think it probably happens quite a lot with the continuously moving rides though when they have to do wheelchair transfers and stuff. Or with little kids who can't seem to figure out how to get onto a moving walkway, etc.

:( So hard when you don't end your trip with MK! I always feel a little like this too! This time our last day will be in MK, and I don't know if that'll make it better or worse...because at least I won't have a moment like that before the trip is over where I'm like, "I'm not coming back to the Magic Kingdom again!"...but I also will have to deal with the sadness of leaving MK and the sadness of leaving WDW all at once in the same moment!!

Bahaha the way that guy is looking at you!! :rotfl:

You're probably right about HM stopping so much, I didn't really think about that!

I agree, when you don't end your trip at MK it just doesn't feel right!

    he was hardcore judging!
Ahh that's so cool, you'll have to look thorough your pictures and see if you spot Flynn in the background, that would be so crazy!

    Disney & Starbucks = Happiness
After going to sleep after 1am and waking up around 6am the next day, you can imagine we were VERY tired. But hey, it was our last parks day so we were still HYPE! We got ready to go and left our room just a little before 8. We had been shooting to arrive to DAK around 8am but all things considering, I'm impressed we even got out of the room that early! After taking Flynn to go potty, we hopped on the bus and arrived at DAK in no time (one of the perks of staying at a value lol).
I got excited to see the Christmas tree because, OBVIOUSLY.
We went through security and I went through the metal detector AGAIN without needing to (HA). I think a kind security guard explained that you only have to go through a metal detector if you get pulled- good to know. :rotfl:
The park was actually quite busy. I don't know why I'm always surprised that DAK is busy but I am!
Rachel was very excited on this morning!
As soon as we walked in the park, we spotted a pin-board/trash can. I've never seen this before but I got very excited because they had a Magic Kingdom 45th Anniversary pin just hanging out. I was so excited (I really wanted one but didn't want to buy it) that I asked the CM "Wait, can I have this one?!" and they were like "Sure!".
Our first order of business was to go to Pandora! We had Flight of Passage Fastpasses but not ones for Rivers of Light and the line was already SO LONG. Thankfully, we were able to make a DAS for Rachel and they told us to come back in about an hour. This was all of our first time in Pandora except Momma Hart and let me tell you, IT WAS BEAUTIFUL
While we waited for our DAS window to open, we decided to grab some breakfast and caffeine then ride Everest!
Even Creature Comforts was decorated for Christmas!
Rachel got the most ADORABLE cinnamon roll!
    Flynn got a "pup-uccino"
I got a venti iced carmel latte which was VERY much needed
    [IMG]
Me in my happiest form: Disney and Starbucks
    [IMG]
The weather was absolutely PERFECT and we didn't feel rushed to be anywhere so we just strolled around and even stopped in my favorite Tree of Life picture spot!
    Look at this princess!princess:
Of course we had to grab some pictures/polaroids too!

No time for sleeping at WDW!

This seems like a particularly germy way to trade pins...but great find!!

    Oh my gosh! :lovestruc

You three look so cute! (And of course, so does Flynn!) I love your blouse :-)
