Hi everyone I am wondering are you able to use your costco membership card from the Uk to gain access to costco Tokyo and purchase goods .And also if anybody knows how easy it is to get there from Maihama station as we are staying at sheraton grande in sept 15. Any help would would be appreciated :cool1:

The U.S. Costco website, at least, indicates that membership cards are valid worldwide (http://www.costco.com/member-privileges-conditions.html), so presumably the same is true for U.K. cards. The closest Costco to TDR appears to be in Makuhari (http://www.costco.co.jp/p/locations/makuhari?lang=en). It is about half-way between the Shin-Narashino and Kaihin-Makuhari stations, which are 6-7 stations east of Maihama on the Keiyo line; the Costco web page provides directions. It looks like the Costco is next to but not actually part of the recently-opened Aeon Mall (http://en.makuharishintoshin-aeonmall.com), so although it's a bit of a trip, there are other things to do/see.

Hi thanks for the info I have out found my uk costco card is valid worldwide like the us so all is good have also checked out the mall you have mentioned through the link you provided so all looks good so will do costco and the mall
Thanks :santa:

At Makuhari's Costco we were asked to fill out a form at checkout as we were out of country members. Can't remember exactly what it asked but I believe a couple lines asked for member name and home address.
