Crossroads is closing?

Yes that is the same shopping center. The one that has McD, Sweet Tomatoes, Goodings ect. The whole area will be gone.

Thanks for the quick answer Shelly, when I first read about this re-development I thought it was just going to be road access.

Now I see this is going to also be the Disney "Flamingo Crossing" as well.

I hope they keep some of the tenants like Sweet Tomatoes or let them come back in.

I guess time will tell what goes there for dining and retail along side of the road development.

This is incorrect. Crossroads and Flamingo Crossings are on opposite sides of Walt Disney World.

Hmmm-I just saw this in the Disboards news feed.

For all you folks who are familiar with the old Crossings plaza, is this the same area?

So I guess that Flamingo Crossings at the end of the Western Way entrance into WDW is going to be the "new" Crossroads plaza/Hotel Plaza Blvd area. Perhaps several of the to be displaced eateries will relocate there (?).

Not much is in the Flamingo Crossings area now. There's a SpringHill Suites/Towne Place Suites sharing the same lot (they're both Marriott). I've stayed at SpringHill a few times and like it a lot and like the easy access into Disney. Plenty of room for development there...
