If one were in a generous mood, and including comments from friends who are not Disnoids who have visited DCA, I believe that what Disney has managed to do with DCA is create a Disney version of a regional amusement park located in California.
So in my mind I wonder why would someone who lives in California want to go to it when they have 'real' regional parks close by? And why would someone from out of state spend the extra money to travel to a regional amusement park just because it's across the street from DL?
My hope is that the example of TDS (not only the impressive nature of the place, but also the fact that it's packed -$$$) inspires Disney leadership to add some more 'Oohs and Ahhs' to DCA.
