No mate, the romans only built straight roads.
And what else did they ever do for us?
Three lefts or three rights mate = return to starting point.
Couple of interviews today and one tomorrow. Happy Tuesday. That is all.
Congrats on the medal! Not a bad way to finish the season.
I really enjoy watching the skiing. Been a bummer that the events keep getting postponed due to high winds.
That was impressive. He didn't look like he was old enough to shave yet.
I just want to say good luck. We're all counting on you.
Been a big day for Canada at the Olympics - gold and 2 bronze. Watching the USA bury the OAR in women's hockey right now, 4-0 late in the second period.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Couldn’t be more pleased that our hometown girl won gold in mixed doubles curling today. Woot!
When you take a snow day on Monday, Tuesday then feels like Monday, but Friday will be here a day earlier. Who's on first?
Instead of 007, is it AA7?
Good luck. Once you accept the job, make sure to find me one as well.
Morning all, Happy Pancake Day from the mother country. Our corner cafe was doing kids eat free for half term, so we took them up on that. Pancakes for dinner.
Do they do the same as the UK and paint the Post Boxes Gold in your town?
I just want to say good luck. We are all counting on you.
Not in England it doesn't. its pretty rare for our streets are parallel
Before I started running it was probably DD7.....
Now that is interesting!
No. Far too many, anyway.
Usually they'll have something named after them. Renaming a community center seems to be the rage for athletes.
I enjoyed watching that pair. I didn't realize Kaitlyn was from Winnipeg. Awesome!
I was also happy for another Kaetlyn, a Newfoundland-born girl winning gold with Team Canada in figure skating a couple days ago.
No, but funny you should mention it. I local team won men's curling gold at the 2006 Torino Olympics. My city took a whole subdivision and named a street for each player. I actually live on one of those streets.
To both comments.
I don't know.
Interviews both went well. Another interview tomorrow. The second interview today went very well if the comment at the end was any indication (this isn't my first rodeo, so I'm pretty sure this bodes well)...
They said they wanted to move quickly on the position and I should be hearing from them soon.
If it hadn't gone well, the hiring manager wouldn't say that.
Thought he was on third?
While true, and I hope you're right and you get the job.... any of them.... I also am familiar with "Wow! You're perfect for the job! You can pretty much expect to be hired." followed by.... nothing.
Happy Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras. Drank a lot of tequila. Man, that stuff is terrific.
Were they locals or did you know them before they were infamous?
Nope, he's on third.
Terrific. What job did you find for me and when can I start?
Congrats to DD on the medal.
And you messed them up with those roundabouts.
Fingers crossed for you, good luck.
You have about 2 hours NOLA time before they bring in the street sweepers and shut it down.
Morning boys from a Sunny but cold London. Happy "Let's mark up the flowers 400%" Day. May your day be draped in romance, chocolates, and some crappy singer standing too close to your table.
Hey, we invented the Internet, Television and the Jet Engine. They couldn't all be winners .
Have a great Weds chaps, and if you got the gift right, it could be a good hump day.
Happy V day.
All I can say is...... good luck.
