Sun. Nov.12 arrive at CSR at 3:30. As we drove up to the resort we both thought it was beautiful. I checked in while DH and DD watched a movie and colored. The lobby was very pretty, check-in ran smoothly and we got cabanas 8a like I had requested in a fax 4 days prior. We bought 2 5day park hopper passes and was on our way to the room. We drove to the Cabanas section and our card didn't work to open the gate, after 5 tries, finally it worked. We decided to find the room first without our luggage in hand. It was really funny trying to find the room. We finally did, and the room was clean and neat and nice. A handle on one of the draws was broken and so was the iron but other than that everything was fine. I can't and will not lie to you. Everything is far!!! You do alot of walking here. Some might love this and others like us hate it! I didn't think this would bother us, but it did. First impression: this is a convntion resort with a couple of families present. I don't know if other times of the month are different, but the place was full of them. We also didn't think this would bother us but it did. After unloading our bags we decided to eat dinner at the Pepper Market and then head to Downtown Disney Market Place. Well we should've eaten somewhere else! DH had a burger, I had a stirfry chicken dish and DD had the kids pizza combo. The food was bad, no other way to discribe it. The method of ordering and paying for food was not confusing in any way, we just thought it was stupid and coudn't understand the point of it! We had no problem paying the 10% because we did get seated and had our drinks bought to us. We were dissappointed. After that we tried out the bus service to go to DDMarket place. The wait for the bus was only about 5 min. and very neccessary after driving from N.Y. We shopped and loved it, we always have a good time here. That night house keeping left the bedrails for our DD in the room and gave us extra pillows and towels like we requested, that made us happy and kind of made up for the food LOL!! :) Next time:MGM 50'sPTC and Fantasmic!

I've never been to CSR, but if you don't like lots of walking, next time try Port Orleans. It was wonderful and not too much walking.

Thanks for sharing your trip with us.

Lisa :)
