Hi there

I am wondering if you guys think that purchasing the Disney club card is worth the money you will save. From what I can tell it's 39.95 (plus 20 bucks for me because I'm in Canada) so that means I would have to save 59.95. I am going to Disneyworld Sept 1 and have gotten the 49.95 rate at the All Star Music resort already so I Don't think I'll get anymore of a discount with the card. Does anyone know how much of a discount I would get of the ultimate park hopper pass? Is there anything else that the card is useful for?

Any info is much appreciated!! :)

I believe it's about 5% off the UMP's. In the last few years the DC (formerly MKC) has had pretty much anything worth while stripped from it! The so called DC is more expensive with less benefits. I was grandfathered in from my MKC membership - I won't renew.

If you plan on renting a car, you can get a good deal with National with their coupon and contract #. Plus, you get entry into the Emerald Club for free(for more info look on the transportation board). You also get 10% off at the Disney Store. For me, it's already paid itself off. It's your choice.

I use it mostly to get 10% at the disney store. I have also gotten rebates on DVD/videos because of the coupons they have sent. A few resturants also will give you 10% off. Don't forget there is a HUGH disney store at disney, so if you plan on buying a lot of souviners if may be worth it....

The DC no longer offers free Emerald Aisle membership with National. Food discounts are minimal (only at Downtown Disney restaurants, basically) and you can get the same or better discounts with AAA or American Express.

I don't think the DC is worth it unless you're getting a vastly reduced hotel rate (which you can usually do with codes instead) or a discount on a lot of tickets (which you can get with AAA or in other ways) or you're buying a LOT of souvenirs.
