Drinks at the Dawa Bar in AK... The two in the back are Sugar Cane Mojitos, and in the front are a Margarita and a Lost on Safari. Delicious - always one of our favorite stops to relax and watch the African drummers.

Did you feel like there was any "real" alcohol in the drinks? I've stopped getting mixed drinks at Disney...seem very expensive for very little alcohol. I've gone back to beer......nothing beats a cold beer!

@Crazyhorse, I agree that many around the world are pretty watered down... Especially the ones you find at the food & wine kiosks, etc. But we find that we can get "real" drinks at the Dawa Bar. The mojitos were especially strong this time around! We do end up with beer quite a bit as well for the reason you stated, though...

All the cocktails I've had at the actual restaurants seemed pretty strong....i once had the sultan pina colada from a kiosk in Morocco epcot that knocked me on my butt, I thought the CM asked if I wanted a straw but it had apparently been donyou want it string bc Oh My Goodness..made for an Interesting afternoon in epcot lol

Thanks bluejasmine, might have to try the pina colada in morocco then! It's our first trip with our DD who just turned 21 and she is excited to sip around the world (and I do mean sip, we both are lightwieghts with Drinks)!

We ate at The Polite Pig for the first time in mid-February. It was delicious!

I also have lots of food porn from our 3-Night Cruise on the Wonder if anyone wants to see?

I ate at Polite Pig for the first time in February. I am obsessed with that cauliflower! Does anyone know what is in it? I cannot wait a year to have it again!

Since I just moved to South Florida, I had to take a trip to the awesome Flower & Garden festival! The first picture below was from the Florida Fresh booth, the Carne Guisada & Key Lime Tart, both very delicious! Carne was a bit spicy if you like that! The spicy pineapple hotdog was delicious, I forgot to take a pic so I took one of the menu. The bun did fall apart almost immediately on this one but still yummy, I just grabbed a spoon to scoop up the goodness. Frushi in Japan was amazing! So fresh! And the beef brisket burnt ends hash in America was yummy as well. 50AC1892-F690-4A4D-B975-C0E17781F8CC.jpeg 9AFB1A1F-BFB3-4968-9893-BC702C7A047C.jpeg 3CF6A76B-B9F8-4D75-A6D8-3D493F5D4B25.jpeg 57B393D6-CE3D-4E97-9377-20E805C49911.jpeg

I originally posted this in the photography section but I should have posted this here. I am in the process of making a large video of our most recent trip and I made a section dedicated just to the food that we experienced. This was my son first...
Phenomenal video, what a great thing to show him when he’s older. I don’t know if you do this for a living but it’s awesome, for you, him and you’re whole family! Shouldn’t fail to mention that he’s cute as a button!

Checking in from the West Coast! I went to Disneyland over Memorial Day weekend and old habits die hard, so I HAD to take pics of all my food :rolleyes1

Corn Dog Kiosk in Downtown Disney
Like the corn dogs at the Little Red Wagon in Disneyland Park, these are also made to order and hand dipped. This kiosk is across from the Lego store. The corndog was GIGANTIC. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the length of my size 9-10 foot. And I devoured it because I was starving.

River Belle Terrace
I dined here for the Fantasmic! package dinner. It was good but I thought it was kind of expensive for the food that was offered. The seating for the show, however, was phenomenal! I saw the later show and was in the third "row" - I've never gotten such good pictures either at DLR or WDW. One downside, the menu I saw online had Strawberry Shortcake listed as a dessert. As you can see here, no Strawberry Shortcake. I was honestly disappointed.

House Salad

Pulled Pork Sandwich with sides of beans and coleslaw - I didn't think that through, because there's also coleslaw on the sandwich itself. The sandwich was good but really, really messy.

Seasonal Parfait

Wine Country Trattoria
This was my first time eating table service at DCA and I was not disappointed! I was very impressed with the food and service, and I thought the cost was appropriate for the quality. This was a lunch package for Paint the Night, and the viewing for that was excellent as well.

Bread Service - yeah, I definitely ate the whole loaf and I have no regrets.

Cozy Cone Motel
Red's Apple Freeze - this is frozen apple juice with marshmallow foam topping. It was definitely a little weird at first, but I ended up liking it!

Chili "Cone" Carne - chili with HUGE chunks of meat, cheddar cheese layered throughout, topped with Fritos, served in a bread cone

It was a perfect combination - you can choose chocolate, caramel, or raspberry sauce. My hubby had vanilla and raspberry and said it was also very good. Nice and cold for such a hot day!
I'm not sure how you can do better than bread AND ice cream :P

Blueberry pancakes - omggggg. These were so good.

What is it about those blueberry pancakes???!! I thought they were so good, too. Wish they were available somewhere else besides the brunch. I don't know if I can justify another brunch to have them, but it's tempting.
