Disney Planner - what's the point?

Months ago, when I received the planning video I sent off for a "Personal Holiday Planner".

Well I've just received 2 in the post (with alternative spellings of my name!). I'm not sure what I was expecting but what I got is an A3 sheet of adverts for the parks (including River Country!) with my name at the top (I suppose that's the personalization).

Useful hints include "don't forget your passports and flight tickets"
and "if you want a taste of home ..... you can always pop in for fish and chips at ... UK pavillion"

honestly whats the point?

I'm impressed, I've usually received mine after I've left for my holiday!

I guess for the completely ignorant it might be useful, but once you've found the Dis, you know everything there is to know already.
