Disneyland Hotel/PP Cheaper Last Minute Availability?

Do the Disneyland hotels typically get cheaper last minute, if there's any availability? I just need one night on Thursday August 8th, but DLH is $650/night and PP is $503 for their cheapest rooms. Debating on waiting last minute to book (I have a backup plan in place in case they're booked). Whatcha think?

I haven't seen last minute price drops in a couple decades.

Same as above, havent seen it. I have seen them send out 20% off codes or whatever and lump in dates (that may work with your dates).

There could also be less room categories open last minute, so you could potentially be paying more by waiting. The cheaper rooms tend to get booked first.

Disneyland doesn't discount room rates to the general public. If they need to fill rooms last-minute, they will release discounted rates to their cast members.
