We didn't see them either during our week, 7-19 - 7-26. I really wanted to mail a bunch out.
I saw a little basket of them near the front/middle of the store where the display table is located. This was 7/16-21.It was on the floor and I easily could have missed it.

Unfortunately the two nights we have booked at the Poly end up being two of our busiest park evenings. This post has made me realize we're going to be missing out on so much wonderful resort stuff that I'm now trying to switch our flights to do an earlier MNSSHP so we can having an evening just at the Poly to relax and enjoy it. That's Disney math at it's finest!

Smart! That's why the first night I'm at Disney I'm staying at the Poly and don't have a park ticket. A whole Poly day!

After spending a week at the Poly with one Cabana/pool day, I still feel as if I missed out on a lot. We never got to even try to go to Trader Sam's. I didn't get to swim in the Lava Pool at all let alone watch the fireworks from there. We didn't even see them from the beach. I walked by the lovely lady making the real flower leis by hand, but didn't get a chance to get my own. There's just so much to do, and we were too busy. Next time, I want to have at least three resort days.

I will admit, when I first got there I was disappointed because the resort did feel dated, and the carpet was falling off some stairs. Coming from a freshly renovated resort, you just notice it. Even in the rooms, you can tell its older and more run down.. Clean, just showing some age.. Stayed in the villas

With that being said, I ended up falling in love with the place and not even noticing any of that after a day.

The location can NOT be beat. The vibe can not be beat. I loved it so much.

The monorail was great. I will deff stay here again. There is something about being on that lake that is wonderful

I agree. For about the first couple of minutes, I looked at the worn carpet in our room. After that, I never noticed it or thought of it again until I read your post.

I'm with you!
I always plan too much and come home wishing I had planned more relaxation time. We usually have a rest/pool day twice in our 9 days but we already decided that next time we need at least 3!

Just read a post on Tikiman’s fb page that the area that was thought to be the temporary location for Tambu Lounge - may not actually be... Steve is waiting on info & will post what he finds out.

If not there.. then where? lol... time will tell ;)

Well if they are looking for suggestions for a temporary location, how about Lilo's Playhouse space. That would provide a proper space until the refurbishment is complete at the Tambu Lounge.

Man, I wish I had a pic of the sorry excuse for a pool bar they set up at the quiet pool back in 2015(ish) when the Lava Pool was under major refurb.

Not sure why that just crossed my mind.

My favorite thing about the quiet pool was the Hawaiian Music they play.

I felt like I was in Texas with the massive amount of country I was hearing at the lava pool
