I'm thinking about about going to DL next year in September. I'd like some opinions please.

I was looking to use some points to stay at GC in a Downtown Disney view (44 point/nt). But...
I could also stay in DLH Concierge level (42 points) or Paradise Pier Concierge with a calif. Adventure view (41 points).

Of course I could laso stay at DLH standard (23/nt) or Paradise Pier standard (25/nt).

I've only stayed at Paradise Pier before in a standard (not on points). It was fine for me. Just wondering if the concierge rooms or GC would be worth it for the extra points.

Note: I know this is not the best use of points, but if I'm not using them for anything else before the end of my UY, at least I won't have to put out any cash for the room. I'm not really interested in renting point out. Don't want the hassle.

Thanks for your help.

Hi, Terri! Bumping this for us. I definitely need advice on this as well, as we will be travelling there for the inaugural DL 1/2 marathon next September, and I am wondering about the availability of accomodations using our points.

We stayed at the GC in May and LOVED it! We paid cash, not points, but the proximity to the parks plus the decor is what we have come to expect from Disney as those who spend more time at WDW than DL. We walked down to the DLH but it was quite a long walk, especially at the end of the day. The private entrance to DCA made it so convenient to pop back to the room (especially after getting soaked on Grizzly River Run). We had a theme park view and loved the lights fo Paradise Pier at night.
