Do you need to check in in person at Fort Wilderness?

I'm checking into Fort Wilderness on a Monday morning and I'd like to go as quickly as I can to rope drop at Magic Kingdom. I've done this before and checked in in person and it took a long time. The check in person was very sweet and thorough and really took her time to show us our site on the map and explaining where everything is, etc. and I did really appreciate that but we were itching to get going. For our next trip, can we park our car in the front lot and just check in online? I don't remember if we needed a physical parking pass in our car or something for our car to be parked there on our check in day. Thanks!

You can do online check in for the Fort, the link should be in your MDE.

Check in online in the app. The guard will let you in to park in the overflow lot, if your site or cabin isn't ready to park your car or rig.
