Does Disneyworld give plastic bags at gift shops or do you have to buy one?

From my experience Disney Owned Stores At springs make you buy a bag (or al least this was the case earlier in the year at Ever After Jewelry) in park never had issues

Only the Disney Stores make you purchase bags. At both Walt Disney World & Disneyland plastic bags are still given. They will sometimes ask if you want to purchase one but just decline and they will give you a free one.

My response I posted was for DLand ~ the current bag ruling doesn’t apply to DLand...it’s for grocery stores and dept. stores with pharmacies (Target).

Just got back from WDW and we got plastic bags everywhere. They do have reusable bags for sale at all check out counters but aren't pushing them very hard. I bought one from Galaxy's Edge because it was Star Wars themed.
