Does resort availability change?

We are coming down for a last minute trip and are AP, so we only need a room. We are doing a split stay between CSR ane POFQ because we have never been to either and want to experience both!! There is ONE night (Thursday) that CSR has ZERO availability for a family of 3 in any type of room except for the suite. THe next day, the entire resort is wide open?! I know it is a month out, but will this availability change? Does anyone watch the rooms and can comment on if availability changes?

PS- ive tried all discounts including rack rate for that one night and still nothing.

Yes resort availability can and does in cases change hourly. Have you tried calling?

Often the room inventory availability online is a subset of what the phone agents have available. The web site can be quite picky and more times than not does not show all available rooms. Just another bug in the Disney IT universe.

YES!! I have tried to call 3 times and they are showing the exact same thing as Im seeing!! We are a party of 3 and all that is available is a king room (which we can not book due to our party size) and the next day BAM....every single category open, for every singe discount available. Seems so bizarre to me because I didn't thing CSR was that popular since there is a ton of construction and it is a Thursday night (but then again, here's me trying to stay there lol!!). Ive been looking/searing for about 5 days now and still litereally not a single room (other than a king and a suite) available. CMs say the same. Crazy!!

CSR is a convention resort. Blocks of rooms are booked by groups coming for meetings, sometimes those blocks are changed or released.

Thank you!! Yes I thought this MAY be the case (blocks of rooms being held off) but was wondering how "close" before the convention do they actually release the rooms..hoping this is the case and some will be released in the next 2 weeks!

Good point @Lynne M, I checked and found a Fiat Owners of America 35th annual meeting "FreakOut National Convention" is at CSR Aug. 15-19. Their room block expires on July 16. So @disprincess2213 keep checking for availability.

Note: They have a good room rate of $139 with this discount rate covering the nights of August 10th thru the 24th. They only charge a $45 fee to register, it might be worth it to investigate further. The rate is only valid for registered club members!

I've been looking for one night at the Poly in Oct.
Nothing has come up, and i've been looking almost daily for a month!

I'll keep at it though, fingers crossed!

I'm curious how you found this as well. We just booked a kindof last minute one night stay July 28, and I wanted to see if there was anything there that weekend that would be blocking off any specific areas. I'm Googling, but not finding anything.
