Thankfully we will be doing alot of these on the tour. You have got to go to Harrods. It was an amazing place to visit. We did a tour of Buckingham Palace a few years ago and it was great. It s too bad they only do tours in the summer. We were hoping to visit Highclere castle [ where Downton Abbey is filmed] but they were not doing tours on the week we were there. Bummer. Fish a d chips in a pub. Yes, Yes,Yes. You have to do this. When we were in London before we had dinner in a pub every night.

We are super laid back for this trip...hitting the Landmark Spa on arrival day (Thursday) and the Churchill War Rooms Friday. I figure the ABD will be busy enough for me and fortunately, I've been to London several times.

Does anyone know if Stephanie the ABD guide is from Germany (she's awesome) or a different Stephanie?

I just looked it up and they're not open the week we're there! Darn, never mind. Maybe we'll do Harrods or the Tate instead.
I had looked it up a while back and seen they were not open that week. I thought maybe something had changed. How you seen the movie? It was great.

We saw the movie Friday night. Really enjoyed it!
We saw it last night and really enjoyed it as well. It was a bit fast paced at times (compared to the episodes). A lot of story was squeezed into just 2 hrs. But it was wonderful to see the characters again and tie up some loose ends. It was also cool seeing it with an audience that clapped at the title sequence and at the end. Definitely recommended for fans.

It was definitely different seeing it on the big screen. I agree about squeezing the story into 2 hours. I think were just so used to seeing it on the small screen. I'm sure there will be a sequel seeing as this has done so well. The cast was on the Today show this week and they said the hardest thing was getting all the actors schedules to work for the movie.

Hi everyone who is planning to dine with us at DLP...my contact at DLP Dining contacted me last night. Our group reservation for 16 people at Capt. Jack's was still available, so I confirmed with him. It will be a 6pm on October 11. I hope that's an okay time.
That works even better. I think we have fireworks viewing at 8.
