If you have rode the expedition everest, how strong is the force of when you are going backwards? And how long does that part of the ride last? Does your head really feel pushed forward while going backward?

How would you rate level of head thrusting with these rides? Or what rides would you say your head is bobbled around the most? I have a 20+ year old herniated disk in my neck that I try to gauge how a ride might effect it. Thanks

    RNRC (never been)
    BTMRR (been many times)
    TT (been many times)
    Expedition Everest (never been)
Space Mountain (been on this years ago)
    Dinosaur

Not as much as RNR for sure I will say my dad had the same back surgery ( I am about 99% sure it was for this) 25 years ago in his lower back and he rode it just fine.

I think EE is one of the smoothest rides of the Mountains. Both backwards and forwards. My issues are in my lower back so not quite the same, but I haven't gone on Dinosaur in years. Space Mountain is very jerky. Safari may not affect neck as much but it's becoming a problem for me. Just something to be aware of because people rarely think of it when they think of jerky rides.

I do recall that from years ago on the Safari ride. What are your thoughts on BTMRR? I also have lower back issues (Not just neck).

I have neck issues. EE makes me nauseous, and the backwards part is brutal on my neck. I ride it every other trip, and have to take a long break after because it make me feel very off.

I have a bad back but Everest doesn’t really bother my back. It does however make me nauseated and feel cruddy for a few hours after riding. I usually skip for that reason or maybe ride once per trip at most

Do you both think you feel off or dizzy because of the backwards part?

I find space mountain jerks your head around a lot and for me gives me a sore neck. Each time I rode it it triggered a migraine due to this; I no longer ride it.

Yes I’m sure that is what does it. I feel worse after Everest than other coasters and I live near Cedar Point and I ride a lot of coasters - some of them make me feel cruddy but I definitely feel worse after Everest. It is the only coaster I have ridden that goes backwards

I think it's the backwards part - I feel out of sorts after, not dizzy, and my neck will feel out of alignment.

My mum has a crushed disc in her neck (and has had others removed) and Everest is her favourite WDW ride!
