Gone Hollywood - Mickey was hidden inside the Gone Hollywood Shop, on the Star Wars half of the store.

Carthay Circle Theatre - Thumper was hidden high atop Carthay Circle Theater, facing into Hollywoodland.

a bug's land - Mater was hidden on one of the light posts at the entrance to a bug's land (the entrance is the one between It's a Bug's Life Theater and Mater's Junkyard Jamboree).

Radiator Springs Curios - McQueen was hidden outside of the Radiator Springs Curios shop, facing the Cozy Cones.

Rushin' River Outfitters - Donald was hidden in the back of the Rushin' River Outfitters store.

Boardwalk Bazaar - Daisy was hidden in the plush room of Boardwalk Bazaar.

This hunt debuted last year and was even better this year because you didn't have to deal with going through security to get back to the parks when you were done. The hunt also consisted of 12 eggs and the two unique eggs to DTD were Woody and Jessie. This year, the eggs were hidden both outside and inside the stores and sometimes you had to go into the shop to see the egg.

Chapel Hats - Dale was hidden inside Chapel Hats, near the entrance to the store. You have to go inside to get a good view of the egg.

Haagen-Dazs - Chip was hidden inside the window to Haagen-Dazs and easily visible from outside the store.

Sanuk - The White Rabbit was hidden inside the Sanuk shop, over the registers.

Rainforest Cafe - Pluto was hidden over the main entrance to Rainforest Cafe, to the right of the sign.

Starbucks - Mickey was hidden over the entrance to Starbucks. I thought this was probably the "hardest" egg to find, just because there are two Starbucks in DTD and the placement of the clue on the map kind of seemed to imply it was the Starbucks closer to Rainforest Cafe. However, the egg was hidden at the bigger Starbucks, closest to the parks.

Lego Store - Woody was hidden inside the Lego Store (the back of the egg could be seen from outside the store).

Disney's Pin Traders - Jessie was hidden in the plants near the Disney's Pin Trader shop. The planter is located to the right of the shop (when facing the store).

Wonderground Gallery - Goofy was hidden inside the Wonderground Galley shop. He's up on the wall to the right of the entrance.

D-Street - Thumper was hidden over the entrance to D-Street. This was the same location they used last year!

Disney Vault 28 - Daisy was hidden inside Valut 28, way in the back. When I was there, it also happened to be the debut weekend for the "Little Dress Shop", so the shop was packed.

World of Disney Store - Donale was hidden in the Men's clothing room of World of Disney (first room you enter when coming from the parks).

La Brea Bakery Cafe - Minnie was hidden above the La Brea Bakery Cafe, facing towards DTD/Starbucks.

Overall, the egg-stravaganza was a lot of fun. None of the eggs were terribly hard to find and it was nice being able to select which prize egg we wanted. It was fun to see the eggs appear over the course of several days (and to find out that they might still change locations once the hunts officially start).

For Annual Passholders, there was a limited edition pin the featured the pie-eye Mickey! It's a cute pin (and pretty heavy).

Some other (random), things we saw in the parks!

    Spring Time
There were some very pretty flowers and trees in bloom throughout the Disneyland Resort.

    "Wildlife": Cats and Fishes
Francisco was over by Grizzly River Rapids. He's a very friendly kitty. He came down to the fence line and let guests pet him (he likes to be scratched on the side of his neck and the back of head). His fur is very soft!

They added koi to the ponds near Frontierland. They're huge!

Gaurdians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout!

I'm trying very hard to withhold judgement until the new attraction opens, but I gotta say, at this point, the new look is very jarring!

    Main Street Electrical Parade
Figment was happy to hear that the Main Street Electrical Parade would be returning to Disneyland! He still fondly remembers that parade from both Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom.

The parade opens with Mickey and Minnie riding on a train being driven by Goofy. The round, drum-like portion alternates between sayng "Disneyland Presents" "Main Street Electrical Parade".

Next up is a set of the cute little turtle and bug mini-floats.

Then comes a giant mushroom and a butterfly and a lady bug and then some more mini-floats.

After that, it's time for the Alice in Wonderland sequence. The White Rabbit leads the way, followed by Alice, another set of bugs, and then the Catepillar!

Next up is one of my favorite mini-floats: the turtle with the hat. He's followed by another bug.

After that, Cinderella makes an appearance.

Then it's time for Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, and Tinker Bell!

Next up is Snow White and the Seven Dwarves!

And then it's time for my favorite sequence...Elliot from Pete's Dragon! He periodically disappears, but his spots remain!

    Then it's the patriotic finale!

Figment was glad to see the Main Street Electrical Parade return to Disneyland. It's a cute parade and fun to watch. That being said, he does think that Paint the Night is a much more technically impressive parade. He wishes there was a way to combine PtN's technology with MSEP's music and floats!

Grand Californian Gingerbread House (2017 Edition)
The Grand Californian Hotel continued the tradition started a few years ago of creating a gingerbread house show piece in the lobby. So far, the design has been fairly similar each year (the house itself resembles the GCH), but there are new and different details added each year.

This year, Chip & Dale were added.

    Hidden Mickeys
Each year the Gingerbread House artists hide dozens of Hidden Mickeys on the Gingerbread House. This year's sign board said there were 25 different Hidden Mickeys. Some were big, some were small, some were easy to find, some were very hard to see (and photograph)! Ultimately, I think we found all of them. It's something fun to do if you have some spare time.

These are the Hidden Mickeys that we found located on the front of the Gingerbread House.

These are the Hidden Mickeys located on the top (roof) of the Gingerbread House. You can only see this if you go to the second floor and look down onto the house.
