Your parade photos came out great! And I love the shirts, so cute and perfect for you guys!
Sounds like a really fun night!
Sounds like a really fun night!
After a brief pit stop in our room to gear up, we went down to the dock to take our first ever boat ride to the Magic Kingdom!
But here are some of my favorite shots of the parade, weird tone and all:
Fun story about these shirts: I bought Jon’s last May when I went to WDW with my mom. I thought it was perfect because it was his favorite color and Mickey is playing guitar, which Jon plays. Fast forward to my birthday trip in October and I happen to see the matching Minnie shirt, which is not only my favorite color but also features Minnie playing the piano- which I play! I thought it was destiny and I made Jon match with me.
Next up was something awesome: checking off the final ride in the MK that I had never been on. Any guesses???
It’s the Barnstormer.
Sorry for the letdown.
The answer is always ice cream.

I LOVE riding the boats over to MK. I agree that it's perfect to see the castle and SM slowly come into view.
I think these came out great!!
Really cute shirts!
The girl in the second row has an epic picture!! I also agree that your selfie pic is pretty epic too!
I just started to think and the only ride I haven't done is Astro Orbiter. Consider that a goal for my September trip!
To multiple questions actually LOL.
Sounds like a great night at MK!
That's what I thought, too. We only waited about 15 mins and I can't imagine waiting any longer than that, but I've seen the wait times get pretty long! The Barnstormer actually has a little more speed than I was expecting for a "kiddie" coaster; it's just soooo short
She was working it for meLove the picture of Ariel from the parade
ALWAYSIce cream is definitely the best way to cap off an MK evening
Hello and welcome! The Christmas decorations were nice for a day, but I'll be honest- I'm glad they weren't there the whole time!Joining in...we were there around the same time. I was happy to see the Christmas decorations for a few days...great report so far
I adore the boat ride over to MK, just the best thing ever!It was an absolutely gorgeous day and the boat ride was so pleasant. It’s also neat to watch Space Mountain and the castle come into view like that. Security was nice and short since it was the middle of the day and in hardly any time we were walking through the tunnel and into my favorite place on the planet.
Great photos! I love just wandering Main Street and the Hub too.By the time the parade was over, we had about 20 minutes left before our ADR and we decided to wander the hub and soak in some MK vibes before eating (and of course take advantage of some PhotoPass opportunities).
Fun!While Splash was fun, it was merely a diversion while we waited for our BTMRR FP to open. We went for a nice, calm ride through a very well-maintained mine. Not at all wild.
Awesome photo! Our last FP was Space Mountain, and we enjoyed a nice tea party in space.
The pictures are spectacular! When we got back to earth we went ahead and grabbed a spot for HEA, and we got a really good spot! I wanted to take the opportunity to try out my new camera with the fireworks and I think I got some okay shots. I definitely don’t have a great setup for fireworks photography but I like how much clearer they are than on my phone.
Your treats look delicious and what a perfect location you had to enjoy them!Miraculously we found a table right outside the parlor to sit and eat and people watch. Then randomly the castle started this Pinocchio-themed show. It didn’t have any projections or anything, just music and lights. I had never seen anything like it but it was really neat to sit and eat our ice cream and watch this little mini show.
I can't wait to do it again!I adore the boat ride over to MK, just the best thing ever!
It's my favorite place for just simple Disney atmosphereGreat photos! I love just wandering Main Street and the Hub too.
Thank you!The pictures are spectacular!
Yes, I'm so surprised we actually got seats! Usually they're full and we end up sitting on a curb or somethingYour treats look delicious and what a perfect location you had to enjoy them!
That's what I thought at first but this was 15 mins before park close and it was a bunch of music from Pinocchio, not just When You Wish Upon a Start. So I have no idea what it was! But it was funIf it was lights changing color on the Castle, then you probably saw the Kiss Goodnight. They play it several times after the park closes and I think right when the park closes as well
Thanks for hopping into our adventure!Joining in, we arrived after you and our weather was chilly!
Sorry you got sick but so happy it was short lived!
I love the Popcorn bucket and perfect way to end the night with ice cream and The Castle!

Side note- the Plaza is tiny. Like maybe the smallest TS I’ve seen on Disney property. But it makes me feel so old-timey, like I should be milling my own flour and finding a chaperone to escort me everywhere.
Yes, I'm so glad the sickness was short-lived!First of all I'm super glad that started to feel better. What an unfortunate way to start a vacation!
Glad I'm not the only one who feels like that door is some kind of time machineI ate there a few years back and it defiantly felt like I had been transported to back to the Main Street USA of the past.
Thank you! Also I love the pictures, especially of HEA! They look amazing!
It really was! Thanks for joining inI am new to your TRs, but it sounds like your first "real" day was super magical! I'm glad you started feeling better!
