Law enforcement authorities are looking for a woman who abruptly stopped her vehicle in the middle of Colonial Drive and caused an accident that left a motorcyclist in critical condition.
The incident took place just before 1 a.m. on Friday, November 18 near the intersection of E Colonial Drive and Semoran Boulevard.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, a vehicle described by witnesses as a white SUV or van, possibly an older model Dodge, was traveling eastbound on Colonial Drive, just east of Semoran Boulevard, when, for uknown reasons, the vehicle stopped in the center lane abruptly.
As a result, a 2007 Suzuki GSX R600 ran into the back of the SUV. The rider, a 38-year-old Orlando man, was thrown from the motorcycle and into the roadway, where he was struck by the SUV. The motorcycle itself was propelled into the back of a 2004 Toyota Scion being driven by a 60-year-old Winter Park man, before striking the outside shoulder barrier wall.
After the collision, a witness says the driver of the SUV exited her vehicle and apologized before fleeing the scene. She is described as a Hispanic female between the ages of 30 and 35 years old, with black hair.

Apologized? Fleeing the scene of an accident, in Florida law .....Leaving the scene of an accident (committing a hit and run) is a crime. Drivers who leave an accident site that involves property damages, or the injury or death of another person face serious consequences.
Under Florida Statute § 316.065, drivers must report crashes resulting in injury, death, or property damage of $501 or more to the local police department, sheriff’s office, or Highway Patrol station (depending on where the accident occurs). Violating this law is considered a nonmoving traffic violation. You (or another party) may also face being charged with a first-degree misdemeanor if you repair the vehicle before making a report.
A second-degree felony if you flee a scene that results in serious bodily injury. A conviction carries penalties of up to 15 years of imprisonment, 15 years of probation, and/or $10,000 in fines. Serious bodily injury is defined as an injury to a party involved in the crash (be they a driver or passenger) that risks death, disfigurement, or loss of an organ or bodily function.

Our friends son was wearing helmet, gloves, boots and full riding gear - that saved his life - but still in critical condition.
His older brother was our ring bearer at our wedding many years ago.
It was a white SUV type car that stopped on Colonial Drive in Orlando - and there are no camera's there
Anyone have any information to help the police?
Anything would help

Our prayers are going out to him every day
He is in an induced comma to help fix all his body parts - and thank G-D all his internal organs and brain are intact and good
It may take a year of medical treatment to get him back on his feet
Please pray for Brian
Thank you for all your support
