Just wondering what restaurants besides Mimi's are on the way to DL while walking or something close by for dinner. Also, are there any grocery stores within walking distance? Thanks.
Between HoJo and the crosswalk over to the parks is a place called Milli's Kitchen. It is fine. Nothing spectacular but everything I have had there has been good. Past the crosswalk there is an IHOP that I heard is pretty over priced. Beyond that is a Denny's and a Tony Roma's/ These are all within easy walking distance.
We ate at both, and both were very good. Mimi's is a little fancier and a limore $$'s, but we eat at the Mimi's in Tulsa, so we were ready for it. Millies wa a little like a Denny's, but I think nice and the food choices were a little better.
And of course, we did a late nite McDonalds run... I love getting fries and a chocolate shake!
Hop the city bus and take a trip down Harbor Bvd to Fullerton.
Stop at the Character Warehouse (outlet store for Disneyland merchandise), walk across the street and try out a SoCal classic: IN and OUT Burgers- yummm!
Got hooked on In and Out on our last trip and plan to make it a new tradition!
